  1. 12,695 units were made. It's a common game in the USA. There are many examples over here. From wikipedia: "The game was Atari's top-selling 1983 arcade release, with Atari producing 12,695 total arcade units.[9] In the United States, it topped the Play Meter arcade chart for street locations in October 1983.[10] In Japan, Game Machine listed Star Wars on their November 1, 1983 issue as being the most successful upright/cockpit arcade unit of the month.[11] "
  2. As per the title. Hit me up if you have one for sale. If not in WA I can arrange transport inter-state. Cheers
  3. Great Andy, I look forward to hearing when they are ready. My order still stands. Thanks for the update. Cheers.
  4. Hey Andy, I'm still interested, can you please put me on the list for FOUR units in the next batch. Thanks :)
  5. I would be keen for the control panel and marquee if you are separating from the pcb sale? Also both coin doors upper and lower if you are selling those? I’ll pm you.
  6. Hey Andy, put me down for two if possible. Many thanks. :)
  7. I had one of these. My mate has it now. All original like this one. Other than his one I’ve seen only one other online. Definitely worth someone saving and restoring. Rare and a great piece of history. Terrific price too.
  8. I know it's probably a long shot, but please do contact me if you have a working Vector game for sale in WA. I have some preferences but I'm open to consider anything at this point. Just need a working Vector to complete the collection (yeah right...) ;)
  9. Hi guys, I'm in the market for a tested & working Daytona Sound board and the separate Amplifier board. Cheers!
  10. Awesome!... I've ended up in possession with one myself (although it has no SI PCB) so I'm keen to understand what roms relate to the original Logitec color version that you have as this is exactly the version and cabinet I played when I was growing up. If I can't get a boardset I wanted to set up a rasperryJamma with the right rom set to recreate the experience :) It will be interesting to see what you find when you do the dump comparison. My bets are on it being identical with the SI (CV) romset except with just the title screen company name changed. It will be interesting to know if that is indeed the case. Either way, looks like you have a rare romset.
  11. Hey Kaizen, sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm curious though as I'm doing some research on the Logitec Space Invaders. Your picture shows what looks like the colour version of original Space Invaders (ie: not part II/deluxe) and it also has the "Logitec. Co Ltd" at the bottom of the screen. From my research (and there isn't a lot of info on this SI version) it appears that they only released a black and white version where the bottom 3rd is in the colour green (on a colour monitor without overlays ). They did that through some trickery rather than the normal way of displaying the green I believe. In MAME the only Logitec rom set available is the B/W with the green lower third. There doesn't appear to be any other Logitec set. The only set that I've found which is the full colour version of the original is the Space Invaders (CV set) - "Colour Version or Video" perhaps. Anyway that one looks to be the same one as your board but it has "Taito" at the bottom and therefore looks to be the original from Taito. So I guess my question is, Is yours the same as the SI (CV version) except with the Logitec wording in which case is it likely that your particular board has not actually been dumped into the MAME project as yet? http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a462/Kaizen088/Logitec%20Space%20Invaders%20Cocktail/20160409_224959_zpsl8pstw5j.jpg
  12. That sure is a stunner. GLWS. I envy the guy that gets to buy this. Awesome cab!
