  1. I'm hardly ever on the boards anymore (how did pins / arcades get so freakin' expensive!) but happy to donate. These boards are probably have lasted the longest than any other I've been on (and I was on a lot in the 00's! - too bad Reddit / social media etc killed a lot)
  2. Great work mate. I'm not a huge fan of MCA's, but they can sure take a beating. I kept the originals in my NBA Jam cab for that reason, ha.
  3. All fixed :) Something was wrong with the Google Drive images. The artwork links themselves should still be working eg PDFs etc
  4. Thanks mate! Been a long time. Good to see the veterans still around.
  5. You're not wrong... I've been away from the hobby for about 7 years and these prices are crazy!
  6. Just thought I'd throw in my 2c to this thread. I've got some scans that I worked on from 2006 while Arcade King was restoring his TMNT: So I have a scan of the original (terrible) LAI CPO, a scan of the repro US CPO and then I updated the LAI (black border) version with the nicer US CPO. I can share the original scans if someone wants to make a borderless version? More pics etc and PDFs here: https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/34509-TMNT-LAI-Artwork-Resource
  7. ok, I've fixed the CPO links etc above, so it all should be good to go now. Let me know if you have any issues or want the original photoshop file (200Mb). Here's a copy for fun, of the letter I found in my machine.
  8. Hey guys, So I've fixed all my pics and artwork links in my thread: http://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/34509-TMNT-LAI-Artwork-Resource Just a note about the CPO. I based my on the LAI design, ie the black area at the top, so it's pretty much exactly like the LAI cabs were (but with the better scan of US artwork). After I completed this GIBO did something similar, but he didn't have any black, just re-arranged the US CPO to fit the LAI cab. You'll have to ask him for that version if it's your preferred option. This is his thread here: http://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/34483-TMNT-CPO eg Mine: Vs Gibo's
  9. *5-6 years later bump* I've fixed the image links in the first post and added the download links back, all related to the credits splash artwork. Next step I'll update the CPO artwork tomorrow. Bed time here in Canada! :sleep
  10. Hi gents, Imageshack is borked, hence breaking all my old pic links. I'll dig through my archives and fix the links as well as look for the PDF files. I remember creating a hybrid CPO LAI TMNT artwork from the USA artwork for Aussie cabs. The original LAI one is a horrible facsimile of the USA one ie lots of blown out areas, plus the big black square that top under the credits.
  11. Im not sure if anyone here is following the Awesome Games Done Quick this week (speed runs to raise money for cancer https://gamesdonequick.com/ ) but there is a pinball pilot program running this week too. Pinball done quick (speed runs on pinball). You can watch the live stream here: http://www.twitch.tv/pinballjoe Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/Pinball-Done-Quick-15942926008077?
  12. The theme doesn't interest me (unless Mr T and Andre the Giant were plastered all over it), but it's good to see some modern tech. I'm keen to read more on it. I wonder if linux gurus will be able to hack it and change the features? http://www.techtimes.com/articles/24596/20150105/ces-2015-stern-pinball-launches-new-wwe-edition-and-proves-you-can-teach-an-old-dog-new-tricks.htm "What's really neat about this platform is that it's a lot like a car now," Paul Mandeltort, Stern Pinball's director of parts and accessories, told me at CES Unveiled yesterday. "Everything is being controlled directly from its particular node, just like a car does." Not only does all of this sound super high-tech, but this software update really has practical implications. For example, if a part needs to be replaced, the pinball machine itself now tells you what's not working correctly so there's no guesswork involved.
  13. I think I've got this one sussed out... The clock inputs were around the wrong way :P It's interesting tho, that with no colour burst clock input, the video output is still adequate (colours are lighter/faded) on NTSC TVS (not the projector I tried tho, it was B&W). I just have to solder it all up and good to go. ps: I miss my DSE soldering station, the cheap one I bought from dealextreme is shite (under powered ) and the one I bought locally is worse ie too hot it oxidizes in a few minutes :(
  14. Hmm, strange I disconnected the PAL clock line and it works ok (I'm not in PAL territory so I cant test it, plus dont need it atm). There might be a short somewhere or a shit switch... I've no idea. Im using the same slide switch that I use to change the 50/60hz mod, so it could be conflicting with that. It doesnt help that im using the damomonster colour mod with the mmmmonkey 50/60hz mod (they're slightly different in the way they do the 50/60 mod) mmmonkey is the old mod that goes directly to the jp2 jumpers. http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/md2switches-page2.htm
