  8. Hi Vince, Glad to know you. Are you still in the Sydney area? I too am a fan of 70s EMs. Make sure you you write down your experiences so that another piece of amusement machine history is captured.
  9. that volley went through another 2 sets of hands before coming home again here ;) Those machines of yours seem to have homing devices in them!
  10. Well, I once had a beauty - bought from Tony (Mr I Steelers). Traded it for a Stern Nugent to a guy up Newcastle way - Greg. He is on Aussie Pinball and you never know your luck...
  11. How great that Len @OGR8 is part of AA. I love anything I can find on the history of amusement machines in Australia. Back in the early 80s I toyed with writing a history of pinball in Australia and from memory interviewed a guy named Lex Davidson from Automatic Amusements. Somewhere is a C90 cassette with him talking about the industry. Lex arranged for me to get an autographed copy of Roger Sharpe's book and bits and pieces of Bally flyers and parts manuals. I hope Len and others like Autosteve put there memories to paper so that history is preserved.
  12. welcome jimbr! By electromechanical, do you have any EM pinball machines?
  13. Will look forward to seeing it back home.
  14. Another sad loss as the result of that horrible disease.
  15. The drive shaft in my Tanaka tbc 4000 trimmer has had it. I am trying to source a replacement but having trouble. Does anyone know a good mower etc spare parts business (either does online orders or near Epping NSW) who might be able to help me out. The replacement needs to be 137cm and fit the attached specs.

  18. Pinarc, glad to see someone who also appreciates the history side as well. I started with a Gottlieb Aquarius (ex Sydney Luna Park) and ended up with 10, my oldest being a 1964 Riverboat and most modern a Flash and Nugent. This is a great forum with some wonderful people on it. Mark
  19. a further miracle. I fixed the Ax/Bx relays so the bases now unload.
  20. I'm tossing up whether or not to sell my Gottlieb Pro Football. Is complete and fires up. Needs scoring adjustments. Let me know if interested and I'll put some pics together.
  21. I have an old Fanta bottle in my 'cupboard of mystery ' along with a variety of other soft drink bottles I grew up with.
