1. Yikes!! Sounds like I should be jutting my games up for auction & make a killing! I’ll sell RFM for cheap - $15k ;)
2. I don’t own a T2, but I’ve seen the movie a hundred times - Arnie looks a bit too similar to the T1000 here I reckon - like he’s not buff enough or something? And the T1000 in the bottom left with his finger up just looks.... odd.. That said, it looks cool dude! And we need to encourage more of this in the community. Well done
3. Flipping heck, that’s ridiculously good! Your young fella is gonna be sooo stoked!
4. Me neither. Tried on mobile and on PC :( Hook us up Trev
5. Yeh I wouldn’t either. I bought my working, but needing a restore JP for just shy of $4k a couple years back.. I certainly wouldn’t sell it for $4.5k after the restore unless I had to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6. What home brew roms? I thought there was only the 6.0 rom from http:// https://www.pinballcode.com/jp6? Are there others? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. Yeh all the bits Koops said. TRex parts are unobtainium, as is the ramp too. So check it for damage and cracks. Lift the playfield and check the subway for cracks also. You can buy Cliffy’s for the scoops if they’re damaged (which they will be I’d they don’t have protectors), and check the east dock and TRex scoops for damage too, there’s no protectors for those. If you end up needing parts for it, I’ve just done a restore of mine and have a bunch of stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
8. I also second Babak from Pinball Haus with the Titan rubbers. Take all the existing rubbers off your machine (noting install locations) and work out what rubber sizes you need (use something like http://www.flippers.be/pinball_rubbers_A4.pdf). Compare what you have with the titan website sets (four colour inspiration) and then order from Babak. That’ll get you the best result.
9. Yes it is able to be converted, you need to buy the SWEP1 playfield pack & drop it in, no idea on cost. By all accounts you wouldn’t through, as RFM is clearly superior.
10. This will be an epic themed machine, I really look forward to seeing the build log - can’t wait for the shoe phone to make an appearance! I assume you’re basing the theme on the TV show & not the 2008 movie? Though I’d be happy with either
11. Revenge From Mars v2.10 Software Update Hey Marcos, you could try asking MyPinballs on Pinside (the user is applejuice), or message him on Facebook to see if there’s a setting or fix.
12. Jurassic Park Project Restore Okay, so tonight I finished up the wiring and turned it on for a test. Unfortunately all I got was the playfield lamps flash once, a TRex roar, no DMD display & two red LEDs on my CPU board - any suggestions? I haven’t touched these boards at all, aside from unplugging & replugging the various cable sockets to remove the playfield.
13. As this is my first full rebuild, does anyone have any suggestions on a good way to test all my wiring/coils etc, that I’m not gonna blow a fuse or transistor etc on a board somewhere when I turn it all on? Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
14. Got my playfield back in the cabinet and finally got around to replacing that nasty Smokey subway with a much cleaner version... The difference is amazing
15. RFM start button not working Ends up firing all the balls out of the trough and dropping them back in, sorted the issue. Thanks for helping out Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
16. Here’s a pic of the power driver board for reference:
17. RFM start button not working Free play. Tripping the coin door switch registers, but obviously doesn’t help Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
18. Ball trough does have power, it’ll throw a ball out if it’s tilted to the correct angle. Haha - found that out the hard way. Screen and audio all work correctly too and the fuse tests all show green with and without the coin door switch closed/open. All LEDs on the power driver board appear to be lit, except the health led which is flashing - but I think that’s normal? Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
19. I’ve done all the solenoid tests and they’re all happy. Haven’t done switch tests yet, as they didn’t seem important. The start button during switch test mode opens the options correctly Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
20. The whitewood was shown in one of the previous TPF videos, but Haggis hasn’t shown off the artwork yet I don’t think?
21. I just checked that - it does click and when I pulled it out and entered switch test mode, it registers successfully Sent from my iPhone using Aussie Arcade
22. Hi team, my start button suddenly stopped working on the weekend for my RFM. Anyone have any ideas how to troubleshoot? Thanks -Tristan
23. Also, here’s installation instructions for the shaker/knocker loom: http:// https://mypinballs.com/files/rfm-shaker-instructions_v10.pdf And a handy mounting guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lPVtfpUrKKYvSu-5xOllqYk79oe2c5Bm/view?usp=sharing I found these both on Pinside and meant to print them and put them in the box, but I forgot..
