  1. After 1993 Bram Stokers Dracula Operations Manual. Thanks.
  2. Hi all, Looking to buy a lot bunch of any screws, fasteners, posts, bibs and bobs etc from any 90's era Williams tear down. Getting my first Williams machine and always handy to have during a refurb. Specifically also looking for and BSD parts that may be laying around you want to move on. Cheers Steve
  3. Just incase anyone recognises these pics..
  4. Dissapointing for sure but at the end of the day all the red flags were there.. think I just wanted it to be legit. I have sourced a Bram Stokerd Dracula in overall good condition and refurbishment ready.
  5. I did a bank transfer direct. Stupid! Have been getting scam calls since from a number searched 45 times in the last month. Live and learn. If anyone does have a refurb pinball I'm still looking.. Good advice for sure!!!! A video call would have been a great idea.
  6. Hello all, Most here are well versed in the scams and techniques used but for the uninformed be carefull of a Gum Tree user called "Joe". Mobile ending in 583. Unfortunatly I got taken for a $700 hundred deposit on a Dr Who. Had a few pictures of o couple of refurb quality pins.
  7. Looking for a 90's era refurb. Anything considered.
  8. Looking for a project pin, any condition. Let me know what you have and work out a deal. Cheers
  9. Looking to buy a 1" Square Stippled Orange insert for a DE playfield if anyone has one floating around out there. Thanks!
  10. The fan is wired in to work as per the original using a solid state relay. The Hyperfan has a soft start circuit so works well. I modded up the cow from a toy that was on Amazon. Walked and moo'ed with red flashing eyes.. rearranged the legs and mounted on a motor with a slip-ring to supply the voltage. Got rid of the moo sound and the red eyes.. but legs kick when spinning. All wired up to the same timing as the fan. Can dig more details out for anyone who is interested. Cheers
  11. 20210401_160630.mp4 Nice one! Looks like yours is in great condition. Only 1600 or so made. Mine was a container pin from France. Put alot of work in but got it good as new. Modded in a spinning cow and weather vein. Also upgraded the fan to a 240v hydroponics unit. Has a dial to tone it down but it's blowing pritty hard on 10. 20210401_160643.mp4
  12. Looking for a DE project machine. Any condition. Cheers.
  13. Haha well maybe an exaggeration... found a ramp builder since then on pinside who makes them.. good as new! Cheers Shaneo... I actually bought on of them a short time after that post. Jody G makes a whole bunch of ramps thankfully! +1 on the quality. Keeping the old classic alive and playable.

    LLoyds

I find the majority of pins at Lloyds to be either the worn out, bashed up, overpriced container pins that don't sell on Gumtree or the great condition, refurbished overpriced pins that wouldn't sell on Gumtree. The small majority of pins that are not overpriced, not junk and actually meet the Lloyds hidden reserve price are rare. The 16% commission doesn't help legitimate Lloyds sellers.
  15. Looking for a DE Simpsons playfield that may be lurking out there somewhere! Cheers
  16. Thanks for this tip. Now I think about it the sleeves are slightly longer than original by 2mm or so. Unfortunatly I don't know if they worked originally as the machine was on working and in need of a complete rebuild when I got it. I'll see if I have some better sleeves.
  17. Hi all, On a DE Lethal Weapon I have both left and right drop target banks that are unable to reset. You can hear the coil firing 3-4 times and see some movement but can't reset. The odd thing is that it's BOTH drop banks this is happening to. Both banks have been fully rebuilt, new parts, new coils, new sleeves, new links. There is no slack from excessive wear and operation by hand is smooth. Feels more like an electrical issue than a mechanical one. Anyone have any ideas or previous experience with this? Thanks Steve
  18. Looking for a set of pinball legs for a Sega Twister. Does not require levellers. Thanks Steve
  19. Can anyone reccomend a good transport company from Eastern States to Perth?
  20. Thanks for all the replies. Always interesting when it comes to opinions on condition. The main takeaway I think is, always inspect it yourself (if you can) and pay/offer what you think it's worth.
  21. Taking a straw poll. Yes or No if you would describe the below as "playfield is good" ?
  22. Firstly there are some legitimate seller's at these auctions putting up good quality pinballs however, the biggest annoyance I have is the fact some absolute junk gets put up and then gets price pumped into scam territory waiting for a sucker to make the final bid knowing inspections are not always possible. If it doesn't sell, then it's just rinse and repeat. I have seen some of these pins list on gumtree between appearances at Lloyds. Fair enough if someone pays what they are willing to pay (usually seems to be about 30% too much) ..that's the buyers choice BUT what's seriously flawed is you can pay overpay for what is supposed to be a good condition pin and wind up with a pile of junk that's been pillaged for parts.
  23. Looking for Jurassic Park steel ramp guides for the Raptor Pit and a main playfield ramp that's in OK condition.
  24. Thanks Jaybee. Given the crazy prices that some of the average condition pins are going for at lloyds there is little chance of them selling privately for less I would assume.
