  1. Ahh. That could be what I was thinking of. TBH, I haven't actually looked into it to much, and only saw glimpses of new courses... Could very well be the battle arenas.
  2. Seems I'm a passenger in the same boat as jono and unfortunately can't make it. Good luck to everyone.
  3. Sunnybank Plaza Funhouse - Grand Prix, South Park. $2/4 tokens for 3 balls, but both had issues. SP DMD is busted, and the flippers are crap. GP's plungers requires a hit to make it to the play field, and the auto plunge doesn't make it. Also, a ball search is required to find the ball when hit up the left ramp.
  4. Tripped over this thread and figured I've have a go myself. Xbox 360 fwiw.
  5. I'd like to pop in. On many occasions I've heard the praises of the event and the collection. 2017 seems like a good time for me to experience it for myself.
  6. Not pushing, just asking... What ever happened to the T-shirts for this year?
  7. Now I'm confused. Is it not possible to get a shot of the screen that shows scores beyond 10 million?
  8. Magic, not Meteor at Greenslopes.
  9. Nah, I'm good. Just wanted to point out that the actual high scores everyone has achieved are available somewhere.
  10. Sounds like a plan. As long as the ratio of score keepers vs players is correct so machines aren't occupied for long periods by folks with their hands in the air. Players able to get off the machines after their game is the advantage of the sheets.
  11. I only play on Xbox 360. The local scores go up to 9,999,999, but the online scores show what you actually got. Is that not the same on other platforms? Based on that, my best is currently 14,791,890. Played the real machine the other day too, and got 3.5m out so 🙂
  12. Plenty of alternatives to MS operating systems too... But with Cortana, the options I've seen for it are in the Start Menu itself. Just click the 'cog' symbol on the left hand side and disable as required. Some privacy settings in the system wide Settings app may do stuff too. FWIW, I own a Lumia 640 phone. If your not a big app user their phones seem fine. Just don't expect the phrase 'there's an app for that' to apply. I knew this going in and haven't had a problem. I couldn't argue with the $125 price to own the phone outright either.
  13. Add my thanks to the pile of praise. Highlight for me was getting to directly play against Mr Number 1 for the first time since I jumped on this pinball train. I think a saw a little sweat on his brow when I took a game off him on Transporter. The 10m on the first ball of his next game cleared it up pretty quick though :) Good times.
  14. Yep, I get all that, and I'm not particularly bothered either way. Was just curious what the law actually says these days. If nothing else, buying a NES Classic, its legal status can't be questioned and that's an attraction in itself for some folks.
  15. As long as I just managed to bend PayPal to my will, I'm all paid up and lookin' forward to some pinball!
  16. Oh crap, it's THIS Saturday. Sorry to stuff yous around but I can't be there ☹
  17. Balls! I thought there was somewhere I was supposed to be last night. Sorry I missed it ☹
  18. Turns out I've actually got a pic at hand. Still not convinced I want to sell, so don't get too excited. Not sure I have the final say in any case.
  19. Slightly of topic, but does anyone know what was different about the ' Australian edition ' of the table?
  20. Hmm. I have some but have never really thought of selling them. Don't suppose you had a particular game in mind?
