  1. Hey,

Designed by a buddy of mine and tested by myself.

Available is a new complete ready to install Tempest Atari Protection board. These are compatible with the Atari P314s deflection boards and will provide much needed additional protection for the XY monitors.

You needed / could / should of MOD the deflection board to fix / improve these games, an individual named "FRANK'S CRANKS" by Frank "The Crank" Seninsky provided information needed to fix these Deflection boards. The good news is that this is now build into the new protection board.

Installation instructions will be provided upon purchase and is very easy to install.

Pricing shipped $35 anywhere in Australia.

    Regards Brad

    Hi Brad,

Unfortunately I don't have one of the adapter.

  3. That looks like a Missile Command arcade missing the original wiring loom, you will need a AR/Audio Regulator board to get the sound working. You have a revision -02 version pcb which is marked on the board. It takes 6 ROMs which you have, if you purchase an original wiring loom and use the original power supply then you wont need to make a Jamma adapter. Covert the power to a 240v and you are good to go.

Pic attached showing the ROMS for the different versions of game boards for Missile Command.

  4. Hey look my old machine, ah the memories. Super clean machine this one, I can see that a few mods has been added to the game. Kick ass sound track on the game, I changed all the LED's to Comet LEDs to give it that sexy look which it works well. The playfield is perfect and so is everything else on this game including that chrome coin door. Has the external headphone speaker kit installed on the coin door so you can hear the audio in super quality.

Good luck with the sale mate, definitely a sexy game.

yes id be interested in one - are you able to make me one?

It's dodgy looking, I have it connected to a switching power supply on my test bench, works but doesn't look neat. Flick me a PM if you like and I'll see what setup you have you have and maybe I can help out.

Hi all, I have a R83 ,125 watt amplifier in in my R82 Rowe jukebox. The driver boards in it have cooked/fried. Need help in locating new boards or someone in Australia to repair/replace them. I m happy to purchase overseas if I have to. Many thanks in advance. Kenny

Are your boards burnt or just not working?

Can have them rebuilt here in Adelaide or have 3 amplifiers rebuilt ready to go.

If this is something you like to do, flick me a PM and I'll guide you into the right direction.

    Hello Con,

Q: Do you have one for Missile Command?

    Thanks

    Hey mate,

Unfortunately I don't sorry, I made one with a edge connector for my test bench and connected it to a external Audio Amp to repair my game MC boards. Would be fairly early to make one if you need a jamma setup.

Hey Con, we don’t distribute Apocalypse multis or have plans to. They are only available direct from Mitsurugi-W in the USA via the A-P forums.

re: Multis, we currently just do the Darksoft products but have some more arcade / candy cab related stuff to list in the coming month.

Thanks for the interest and support!

Okay that's cool, so my eyes are okay then haha.

Thanks for the heads up, have a good one.

  9. Welcome to the AA,

Hard to tell by the pictures you have posted. Are you running a LCD or a CRT monitor?
You could start with some basic troubleshooting, with the machine switched OFF and disconnected from the 240V main remove the back cover of the machine.

Gently remove and reseat the neck board that's connected the CRT monitor as you should see a redish colour ( neck glow ) on the crt tube ( when the machine is ON ) Careful when placing your fingers on the chassis, you would see a RED, BLUE, GREEN, ( SYNC could be any colour ) make sure this plug is securely connected to the chassis.

Snap a few pics of the CRT / Chassis for us to help you out.

This is plus that connects to the chassis

In the meantime here is a great video so that you can familiarize yourself before damaging the machine or blowing yourself up.

  10. The ROM PCB board has been redesigned to take 11 x 2732's EPROMs instead of the dreaded 2532's which are located in socket IC2 and IC3.

Most of the ribbon cables go bad on these boards over the years, new 40 Pin IDC Lock type header have been installed for ease of use and can be replaced anytime if needed.

The ROM board will also come with new populated IC’s but will not come with the EPROMs due to copyright.

The Widget board also has been redesigned to take a 20 Pin IDC Lock Type head socket as these ribbon cables also tend to fail over time.

New ribbon cable are included with the Boards; every component is new.

These have been tested by myself and work perfectly.

    Price
    ROM Board = $97.00 with new IC’s
    Widget Board = $67.00 with new IC’s
    This includes delivery in Australia.
