  1. Yeah, have played a Night Moves, they are a million times better than any of the Allied Leisure cocktail pins of the 70s. AL ones are just so slow and boring, the cocktail pin is a cool novelty but the AL ones don't do the concept any justice.
  2. Pinball shed in queensland had a stack of these cocktail pinballs about a year or two ago, some were parted out, maybe see if he still has any spare parts left over?
  3. Looks like a Stern cabinet that someone has thrown a Playboy into. So the question is would you want to put the game back into a Bally cabinet, or just fix up some of their hacks to make it look a little bit better.
  4. Shame they're all double coin, I'm needing single coin ones. Very cheap for sliding coin mechs, I just cant use them lol.

  7. Hah, yeah, see there's always an exception that you don't think of! Marking a for sale opening post as sold is a perfect example. That's the hard bit with such a large forum with many different functions, it isn't easy to have one blanket rule over the whole thing...
  8. The badges would be separate to the usergroups.. the badges are more like achievements you get in video games (steam, xbox, etc) edit: as AK said above whilst I was typing this
  9. Yeah, there is always a lot to do when setting up new systems. Things like this would be way down on your priorities. Its most likely on your list to look at a long time from now, but just mentioning that forum signatures would be nice to have back again. You're welcome to change the edit policy back to what it was before, now that we've identified whats going on. I don't need to really edit anything in the photos, I just thought something had malfunctioned or had been changed when I noticed the ability missing. We're currently not getting a huge influx of calendar entries or new galleries being added so currently it should be fine for changes to be done upon request if really needed.
  10. Thanks, yes its all back to normal now. Good to know. Shame there is not a separate "edit permissions" for the gallery as it would be good to be able to add tags or edit photo descriptions at a later date. It does make sense to prevent users from editing their forum posts many months after it was posted, so if the global edit permission is reinstated with no work around for galleries, might just need some pop up message in the create gallery section to let the user know that "everything is final, there wont be an edit ability". I assume this would mean the global edit permission also restricts editing calendar entries when its enabled again.
  11. Interesting, I set up a new test gallery and all features are still there. Maybe theres a timer, once its an hour old you can no longer edit whats up? Option is near the left side of the screen
  12. Just thought I'd jump back in and mess around with new features again and some that I saw earlier seem to be gone. When viewing a Gallery image, under "image tools" at the bottom right an hour ago I could add a tag to the image. A tag was just a box I could place over an image and add a caption to, so when someone moved their mouse over that section of an image the caption would pop up. I can no longer see where to edit an album description, or edit an existing image. Are you playing around with changing things right now? or I have somehow lost some features? or by making an image Gallery public for people to add images to has that enabled someone to remove some of my rights on it? There is also a mention to "Articles" on the profile page, is that Articles module going to stay disabled, or is it enabled and I just cant find it?
  13. Thought I'd give the gallery a go. Did an initial test with a couple of random images I had on my computer. I think I've set up the gallery so that anyone can add to it. I've just gone around and taken a couple random pics of my favourite items and added them to the gallery. This was to attempt to see how linking a Gallery image works, but WOW using the existing image option it lists every single image I've ever uploaded to AA. Bobble head Gary approves of this feature!
  14. So far its looking good and easy to use, seems to be less of a learning curve than the new VB was.
  15. This event can't go ahead due to the current covid restrictions. All day unlimited play & flip frenzy tournament. 11am to 9pm. $25 entry per person for unlimited games. Includes free entry to the competition. Flip Frenzy from 7pm to 9pm. Prizes up for grabs! Australian Pinball Museum 22 Dimboola Road, Nhill, VIC 3418 www.pinballmuseum.com.au
  16. Great job getting it working! It's a game that's been on my wish list for years but I was not game to take on a project of a completely unknown hardware system when they popped up earlier this year. Definitely not many of them around, I only knew of 2 Mr Game pinballs in the country before Oscar brought those 4 in earlier this year. It appears Mr Game just used some Zaccaria parts, there's no other real relation to Zacs. A few years ago I spoke to Natale Zaccaria and asked him about Mr Game. He said there was no relation between Mr Game and Zaccaria. The Zaccaria brothers went to Technoplay after closing Zaccaria and they started up the pinball manufacturing at Technoplay. Mr Game was founded by Alfredo Cazzola who owned a company that ran expos. The Mr Game pinball called Motor Show was made for an expo he ran called Motor Show. The only link to Zacs that I've ever heard was someone once mentioned to me a rumour that he founded Mr Game by buying out the old Zaccaria factory.
  17. Official specifications published by the manufacturers: Stardust (EM 4player) 122kg Champ (EM 4 player) 125kg Hercules 125kg Banzai Run 127kg Star Trek Next Generation 135kg Demolition Man 151kg Revenge From Mars 163kg Wizard of Oz 179kg Hawaii (bingo) 220kg My guess would have been Revenge From Mars... JJPs seem to be heavier than I imagined, I was thinking they were only slightly heavier than Bally/Williams widebodies...
  18. VIC Western District Australian Pinball Museum Remove Robot and Student Prince Add Supersonic and Stranger Things pro
  19. Terribly, I only got 2 out of 3... got the first one wrong :O
  20. "Horizontal" or "Vertical" references the orientation of the monitor screen. You figure it out by looking at the longest side of the monitor screen. The longest side on yours is going left to right, so it is mounted horizontal / landscape / east-west. If the longest side was going up and down, it would be vertical / portrait / north-south.
  21. Looks like you're going full on with a repair, hoping to see it looking brand new at the end of this! We've got one, bought it from Magic Mountain back in the 90s, cosmetically ours is a lot worse due to Magic Mountain being on the beach, everyone would have a swim and then sit on it, so the salt water had its fun with the metal bits!
  22. They were doing great deals to try and move them. Judge Dredd was our first New in Box because they offered a $2000 trade in for any working pinball (so we traded in our shittest game with the most damage, Strange Science, that wouldn't have even got $200 on the market back then, but it was "working"!) Plus they offered payment to be done monthly, so the game could be out on site earning as it was slowly paid off.
  23. Your local contact in WA would be Kids Just Wanna Have Fun, or contact the Australian distributor AMD Coin Op in Sydney.
