  1. Thanks @Railways - got no PDI left at the moment and as @KJS the German supplier pulled the pin because costs were getting out of hand. If I get time next time I'm in Germany I'll have a bit of a look around for an alternative supplier. I'll post on here when/if I get another shipment. I've had experience with JJP, Stern and PDI and PDI is easily the best. Can't speak for Vampire or @Ballypinball 's new one, but they are in stock so that's a big plus!
  2. Seems to be overwhelmingly positive feedback from people who’ve actually played it at CES.
  3. JJP are really getting a track record for incomplete code. It’s getting embarrassing. Not sure what’s going on there at the moment. How is Toy Story code? Anyone know? Elton John will go the same way if its sales are anywhere near as soft as reported.
  4. ***SOLD**** Selling an original condition Williams Gorgar. One of the late 70's classic solid states games. Designed by Barry Oursler it was the first commercial game to feature speech. Game is in good original condition. Playfield art is generally good with some wear spots as photographed. Some insert cupping typical for this age. Bottom half of pf and magnet has original mylar which has protected the art. Cabinet is scratched and dented etc but heaps of original character. Electronics all original and working perfectly. Displays good. Backglass original and in fair condition. Plastics complete and generally good with some marks scratches etc. Pickup Sydney or Bill/Shannon for transport. $3900
  5. Got her up and running. Plays perfectly! Great game. Once again AA to the rescue. Thanks for everyone’s help! Only thing I might consider doing down the track is changing back to incandescents.
  6. So that’s the transformer done. Cut the 2 existing ties that were there and tied 3 & 5 together instead. And moved yellow to 7…. And just confirming this is the correct Varristor?
  7. Thanks @Pinballer. Why replace the emi filter?
  8. So, I understand u have to change the transformer wiring per the manual. To replace the varistor can I use this Jaycar one: https://www.jaycar.com.au/275vac-6500a-metal-oxide-varistor-mov/p/RN3404?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_syM_PzHgwMVPA97Bx1DAAozEAQYASABEgJ1YvD_BwE And what do I need to do to the line filter? This is what I’m looking at btw:
  9. Hey @Pinballer she’s finally arrived and she’s bit of a stunner. Now how do I convert her to 240v?
  10. Good idea @gumnut01 . My PDI comes from Germany but I’ve got another few containers coming from Germany for work before next December so I might look at getting another pallet before then. Will keep you updated.
  11. Thanks guys. Apologies for the delay chiming in here. Spooky always seem to drop new games when I'm away for work or on holidays. Yep, I'm organising importing the Australian run for Looney and Texas Chainsaw as per previous releases. Just to address a couple of points. It's true Spooky wait until well into the run to make all the Australian games together. This is mostly so they have time to iron out all the bugs in production before sending them down here where it's alot harder to troubleshoot/supply replacement parts etc. once they're here. Personally I think this is a huge plus. It also helps with their production and logistics making all the Australian games together. Most people also appreciate that the code is also well and truly advanced by the time the games get here. It's not the case that all CE orders have to wait for BSE and SE games. In fact they usually bring the BSE and SE games forward for us so they can produce all versions together and therefore maximise the amount of games in the container therefore reducing cost for everyone. For Scooby the time from order to delivery was/is about 12 months. This is alot better than most other manufacturers except of course Stern. Pricing is just the converted USD prices at the time plus freight and GST. It does mean the price can fluctuate a bit based on the ER, but its the fairest/cheapest way to do it in my experience. Games should land for between 17-18k for CE, 16-16.5k for BSE and 15-15.5k for SE. This of course can fluctuate marginally with currency fluctuations, but if you want to lock it in you are always welcome to pre-pay at todays ER. Our freight rates will also be cheaper than if you were to organise shipping an individual game yourself. We literally take the full container rate and divide it by the number of games. There's a bunch of other info/specifics for those that want to go ahead. Shoot me a PM here or through the Spooky Pinball Australia Facebook page for more details and/or to order.
  12. so true. No matter what the listing price at the moment, no one wants to pay it. If I listed it for $8k, the offers would be $6k.
  13. Definitely not going lower than this @Railways . It’s crazy but not completely unexpected. I think leading up to Xmas is also a bad time. Got a lot of headwinds lol. No doubts it’ll sell at this price - got a few sniffing around now.
  14. Yeh, there’s a few different things all happening at once. The other thing is everyone seems pretty full space wise. During Covid with everyone at home and pinball prices rocketing, everyone seems to have maxed out their space. Now it’s 1 in, 1 out or even 2 out 1 in. I’ve plenty of trade offers. And there’s been soooo many new games released lately. Interesting times.
  15. Had a couple mildly interested but nothing serious. It’s almost $2k less than it cost me. Not going any lower. Only selling a few games as I had a space lined up at my warehouse to set up a few games but in the end the business needed it. So I have a surplus of games over what I can fit at home, and I already have an OG Fathom. I figured the nib one would be an easier sell. I think this only appeals to hardcore collectors and of those only ones that like older games. So it’s a pretty niche market. Wouldn’t be the first time lol
