  1. Hi everyone, I thought I'd share some photos and videos of my Paragon re-stencil, which is my first attempt at stenciling a cabinet. Enjoy. Feel free to ask any questions. Time Lapse video - removing the first stencil layer Normal speed video removing the front stencil layer
  2. Can I grad 14. Data East Star Trek ball launcher button & housing slightly cracked by okay $10. Sending you a PM now.
  3. Thanks Rich. I did suspect that the nuts may not be original for the game. Unfortunately the photos in IPDB aren't able to answer question definitively. Does anyone have an good original Paragon that can confirm the type of nuts used on posts to hold down the plastics? Re the ribbed posts, Thanks for the links I was mainly looking for the correct size. I don't think it is the short one so either 1 3/16 or 1 1/8.
  4. Thanks Tony, it looks like I'll clean those up the best I can.
  5. Hi guys, I'm doing my first restore of a solid state machine, a Paragon. Could you give the sizes and part numbers for the red ribbed post and the nut with the yellow cap as shown in the photo. I've looked in the manual and can't find these parts. Cheers Jono
  6. 1992 would have to be up there. Getaway, Fish Tales, Addams, Doctor Who, Creature.
  7. Good score. Screen replacement is easy. I did it on mine with a TV I got off gumtree for around $150
  8. Donkey Kong in all round good condition is at least $100. I looked for a while to get a decent once for under $100 unsuccessfully. I think I ended up paying about $130 + postage.
  9. I paid $80 for a good Occy via gummy with no box and $90 for a good Fire Attack with no battery cover via ebay auction last year. Both are sort after. I reckon at $200 each they'd both sell pretty quick.
  10. Thanks @Boots I guessed it was aluminum. Yeah most in in good condition.
  11. Hi guys, I'm in the process of doing up my first Bally solid state machine, Paragon. I'm wondering what people do do about the thin metal plating that's in the back of the headbox. It seems to me that you would have a hard time removing this without damaging it. My questions... * What do people generally do regarding the area when repainting the entire cabinet? * Do you leave this in place and mask around it before painting? * Do you remove and replace? * If removing and replacing what is the material and where do I get it? Cheers Jono
  12. Thanks for your comment, this has been really helpful for me. I'm about to do my Paragon but the Rustoleum yellow is way off the mark. I've found a local graffiti shop and there looks like a Montana yellow can, (BLK 1045 Melon Yellow) that's a pretty good match. graffiti shop link https://www.crushcity.com.au/
  13. Hi mate, I'm just about to do my first stencil job. I don't like the nozzels on the rustolium can. Can you provide a link to the "adaptors" and "fat caps" that you are talking about. Cheers
  14. Unfortunately I have to drop out. Have a great time everyone.
  15. I'm double booked also. Please remove me from the list please Dave. Have fun everyone.
  16. Played TMNT pro at The Park at Coomera Westfield on the Gold Coast today. I liked it. The game play was fun. The screen animations are really good. The art package is really nice. I'm not really sure about code, I was just following the blinking lights. Multiball is reasonably easy to start and the start sequence is cool. Super Jackpot is a cool shot and will require a bit of skill to get. I haven't really been following this thread so not sure what features are in the premium/LE but the pro seems good to me.
  17. Thanks Wayne, probably out of my price range.
  18. I've had both actually, unfortunately you can't keep them all and these two are ones I'd like back especially T2. I want to have Fish Tales, Getaway and T2 side by side in the line up.
  19. Hi everyone, Looking for an T2 or Whitewater pinball in decent to good condition. Prefer South East Qld location but open to other options. Let's talk. Cheers Jono
  20. Pretty sure @luke did this and it looked really nice.
