  1. PM's with details have been sent out. please let me know if you didnt recieve anything from me
  2. Gday Folks. For many reasons there has been a delay in starting up Houseball for 2022 but here we are, all ready to go. We are always looking for hosts, so if you are keen on hosting one this year, please either let me know via PM or on the day. First up for the year Ray and Reen have been gracious enough to offer up their place for Houseball #1. This will be on the 26th of March at Westlake. PM's will be sent out a couple days before the event with address details. We will be following the same format as previous years but here are the basics. Qualifying starts at 2p.m and goes for 4 hours so you have plenty of time to get your games in. We like to encourage everyone to try getting their games in early because as the beer and socialising flows people tend to forget they haven't played all their games and we have to chase them up so we can close off the comp. You will play a total of 6 games on designated machines, which i or the host will post a list of closer to the day. Sometimes it might be 1 game on 6 different machines or maybe 2 games on one and 4 and others. This will depend on the number of machines hosts have available on the day so we can have a few 'free play' games available to all. Your best 5 games will go towards your total points for the day. Finals start at 6p.m or just after dinner. Top 4 players will be in the 'A' division finals and we also have a 'B' division final for the highest places of the second half of the field. Points earned at each Houseball go towards the final standings for the year which earn you the perpetual Houseball trophy. Some esteemed names on that list 🙂 House rules. We ask you to remove rings/bracelets so as to not damage the machines and anyone found abusing the machines will be asked to leave. Remember, without our hosts Houseball cant go on so lets please respect their house and pins. For smokers there will be a designated area where the host can point you to on the day for smoking. Please clean up after yourself. We generally limit the number of players to 30 , but this can change at the hosts discretion. Cost for the day is $20 which covers food, prize money and hosts expenses. Dinner is usually pizza but we change it up sometimes. I dont do social media but im sure someone will post it up on there somewhere and we love having new people coming along. Just get me to add any newcomers when you add yourself to the list.

  4. Unless someone else has a burning desire to be the organiser next year I’ll look after it .
  5. Thanks Sandy and Dave for hosting another fun Houseball. Ray supporting one of the deck poles for a good hour was a highlight for us.:p
  6. Was a fun day, Thanks Rusty for hosting and Cazz for doing a fantastic job on the catering. If theres a special place in hell reserved for people that make young kids cry, yeah ill be there...
  7. Thanks to Reen and Ray for hosting the first Houseball for 2021. A great time was had by all.
  8. all previous houseballs have been in the pinball competitions/leagues forum. i think a lot of people may be missing this as its not in the ''correct'' place
  9. What a great way to end the 2020 Houseball series. Thanks to Sarah and Trav for hosting. Dicky took home the Houseball trophy after a nailbiting playoff due to having equal points for the year with Trav. Houseball has definitely been a highlight in a year of many lowlights for a lot of people i think. Houseball will be back early in the new year so stay tuned to this space. Rusty has offered to be the organiser for next year but i will of course assist where needed.
  10. Positions are finalised and PM's have been sent out. please let me know if i missed anyone. see you all there just in case it wasnt obvious, its this saturday the 18th. i forgot to add that into the PM's :)
  11. Thanks for letting us know Nick, @SilverBalljunky moves into the list
  12. Thanks Angela and Grant for having us, was a great day with the weather being kind to us so we didnt get cooked in the shed. In a cranky moment ive decided we arent have bloody Medieval Madness as a comp machine in future Houseballs.
  13. We have reached the point where we have a reserves list. if someone pulls out we work our way down the reserves to replace them. This is also at the hosts discretion so it may be opened up to a few more people as we get closer to Xmas.
  14. We have our very own Santa impersonator and he doesnt even need a beard. Lets try to convince him at Dickys :)
