  2. I think I have a set lying around that a AA forum Member shared with me to help get my machine started up. If I can find this I'll be happy to share it around Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
  3. Hi Folks Free to someones next build project. My next build needs to be put on hold a lil longer.... :/ Approx 29 inches. Fully working with remote control. No issues with display. Pick up only from Prestons 2170. Cheers
  4. Hi folks free to AA members .. u pay postage otherwse pickup: ATX-400 400W powerbox, tp link 54mbps wiress pci, geforce 256mb gfx the atx and geforce card last known working... the tp wirelss card im not 100% sure on.. geforce card compatible with soft15khz or groovymame cheers
  5. thanks for that mate.. going to try this first before considering hardware changes.. esp considering sfex runs perfect.. dunno why sfex2 shouldnt..
  6. Hi folks how do i go about creating a specific custom .ini file for sfex2 to help with this problem? and what should it be named so that the game refers to this and not the standard mame ini file? Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks folks - this now going to a better place.
  8. Hi all First off - as far as iam aware, the board is NOT WORKING.....!! so iam looking to give this away to an AA member to practice repairing boards or whatever else these maybe useful for??? From what i can see via stickers its simply a Street fighter 2 board... maybe even Champion Edition (the Cab is a C/E style cab).... If i remember correctly there is written cps2 or cp2s on it as well. Pick up Sydney Prestons area, otherwise Blacktown during working hours. Cheers.
  9. +1 for mala... was an easy learning curve (ive only built 1 mame machine)...
  10. i think u misunderstood.. but to clarify... i have 7000+ games... but only end up playing probably 20 of them because they're so addictive.. i also wanted to know... when people are referring to a "full set".. exactly what does this entail.
  11. So how does thing do the 'rounds' then? also can i ask an obvious... with a HDD fully loaded.. how many games we're talking about? coz im struggling to get past about 20 games (and thats a generous number) since being given a rom set...
  12. whats the best way to mount this socket onto the cab? off the top of my head im thinking of drilling some holes + using a jig saw to cut a hole big enough for this plug. also - what fuse should i use in this? will be used to power up the pc, marquee light, arcade monitor and some speakers
  13. that works well then ! going to jaycar today to pick up one of these..
  14. so glad i asked!! that looks superb..! so how does it work with turning off the cab then? i cant get my head around how this works.. eg u modify ur motherboard so that it automatically boots up when there's power..but if u just turn off the switch.. it would be equivalent to yanking the plug out whilst the pc is turned on.. then on re-boot windows would go through the hdd scans etc.. on exiting mala.. ive selected the option to shutdown windows..but the power switch will still be turned on until this completes?
  15. thanks but id rather a power button mounted onto the cab itself...
