  1. Yes a blinged creech would be good to do, just don’t start with a box of hacked boards, broken displays/parts, multiple missing items and mis-wired electricals. Other than that, all good. At least the remaining Creature is working up front and has new playfield from years ago ready in a box. The remaining one is still here. Just the troublesome one left, hence I’m happy about the hole it left. Funnily enough, today I was wiping all the Creature detail off the white board, and the Virtual pin next to me was on. Guess what game it randomly stops on … Creature. Can’t escape it. @AutosteveI still need to finish the Funhouse. I did a quick boot up when I was booting up Creature. After a hat-trick of blown up sound boards was when I closed the shed up for 12 mths. I dare say the couple of little issues I noticed on Funhouse before I spat it over sound boards, was the backwards ramp again same as I saw on creature (mis wired tie in diode) and something in the eyes. I’ve replaced all the parts but just need to go through a thourogh test of all the game. It was another container non working heap of crap. There was copper wire soldered across the fuses, most likely from coils.
  2. Next is a Whitewater that I’ve been touching up and clear coating the playfield. Already have a box full of all the new parts. The cab is sitting here and has been re-decalled.
  3. Creature has finally left the building. Couldn’t be happier. This is the best sight I’ve seen all year. Onto the next game.
  4. Thanks Ali Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. Had a nice easy day. Has been a busy week and I’m not quite used to that, so a few days rest and then i’ll continue on.
  5. Please remove Evel Knievel Ironman vault and Sure Shot. and add EBD LE, Mr and Mrs Pac-Man Thanks.
  6. It was. And the arcade centre in Newcastle was named orbit 1 as well. The idea being that it to be was the first of many. Orbit 2, Orbit 3 etc. As far as the games not being good, at release I played them all as much as any other especially the 3 wide bodies I think the argument is that we don’t have the population of the US or Europe So it’s a numbers games and unless they were built for export and sold heaps, it’s doomed Ask any American that buys a machine from here or Europe They just don’t want to pay the extras for the shipping etc when they can go down the road and pick up new games much cheaper and in person
  7. Awesome, thankyou. Exactly what I was hoping, that whomever made them would see it.
  8. Been quite a while since any updates. Finally getting there. Making of the VUK. As in an earlier post, I was using a Dirty Harry vuk to modify for Creature. Started by making the essential cuts in all the right places. Then onto the joining together. Only used mig to spot weld, but would have preferred using tig. After a trial fitting, which went well, it was then cleaned up with a deburer bit and a file, some sanding and a bit of polish. Then into the game for testing. So what seems like forever, Creature is just about done. Only the locked on lamps to sort on the driver board, sort out the creature feature a bit better and some gameplay tweaking. Be glad to see the end of this one. It will make the next one seem easy. Some gameplay
  9. Can’t get enough of this game. Played the LE again recently. Spent a bit of time on it last year too.
  10. Hey Guys Does anyone have any info about this 2008 Aussie Arcade made board? Looks to be a rectifier board to me. 115vac to 24vdc. Heard something that maybe had something to do with dmd flicker in early WPC displays? Which I’ve never heard of or ever seen issues. @sleazius is having a cleanup and there’s no way he remembers as he asks me what he owns. Any help appreciated. Arcade guys also, as I’m thinking it could be from an arcade game too.
  11. I know where there’s a nice one and he’d probably let it go. He needs room. I should also finish the one at home.
  12. Most people wouldn’t have played a genesis either.
