  4. Hey Guys, Have had some interest in these again so wondering if anyone else is interested? check the attached video $165 all in including postage to your door. this is for a brand new in box unit (only opened to do the mod) and you can choose either the dual boot mod (i know it sounds crazy but it would boot into the mario game & watch version if you are familiar with that? with the clock and the games that were on the mario version and then you press a couple of buttons to go to the 56 or so game & watch games (there's a couple of homebrew games available that can be added check the attached video)) or it can just be made to boot straight to the 56 or so game & watch games and you lose the clock and mario games. Please PM me if interested Cheers Johno Dual Boot.MOV

  10. Hey Guys, Offering up my Gottlieb System 80 James Bond Pinball for sale. I have owned it for quite a while and they don't come up for sale very often. It has LED's installed (although some globes are out and I don't have any to replace them with). The cabinet, backglass and playfield have some wear which I have tried to show in the photos which are located here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xo8gG7a_5q4zrrJlrQgGQWU7k9gttIv6/view?usp=sharing It is set to free play (which is not standard for this machine) and has the original "timed game" rom installed (see here for info https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK7HIFaz7k8 ) but I will also included a 3/5 ball game rom chip and also a dual chip with instructions on how to make it change between the 2 game modes (timed and 3/5 ball by the flick of a switch). The batteries have been removed from the board and can be changed by opening the coin door. Comes with a NOS manual, custom keyring which shows a mini flyer - front and back and 2 x spare bumper caps. The machine isn't in perfect condition but it is a good, fun playing machine. If you are a Bond fan you will love it. Please note local inspection and pickup is preferred at Clarence Gardens, SA, as I have no means to transport it or to organise transport. If you want it transported interstate this will be up to you to organise and I take no responsibility for any damage/loss etc once it leaves me. Please PM for me for further details or if you are interested in buying. Looking for ~$4,250 ono. Cheers Johno
  11. where did you buy them from @Crafty and have you tested they work as I seem to remember/hearing somewhere that not all the Geekwom LVDS boards work with BBH??
  12. Hi Guys, Just wondering if anybody has a couple of 2732 blank eproms and a programmer that could sell me a couple of the chips programmed with the below? (ie I just want to buy the chips programmed as below not buy the chips and a programmer) This is taken from a pinside post. I already have a chip with the 3/5 ball game on it so ideally would like to get another chip with just the timed game programmed on it and another with just the double rom programmed on it to cover all bases. the double rom thing might be out of my skill set to make up but I'll give it a crack. do you think instead of a SPST or SPDT switch you could use a normal arcade push button? this way I was thinking I could either install it in the coin door or perhaps drill a hole in the bottom of the cabinet and install it there to save having to open the backbox each time to change the game mode? Please let me know if you can help out and how much it would cost to get the chips and programming done. Cheers Johno "1980 Gottlieb James Bond 007 Double ROM with switch (timed & 3-5 ball play) A Pinside member emailed me asking about this mod recently, so I figured I'd share this with all. I have done this mod during a repair a couple of years ago and it worked great. Items needed 2732 blank EPROM EPROM Burner Soldering iron & solder SPST or SPDT switch (mini or sub-mini) 1K Ohm resistor 1/4a wire (30 AWG) works best Hot glue gun ROM files for Gottlieb James Bond 007 Download the 2 ROM files for Gottlieb James Bond 007 658-1.cpu (timed play) 658-x.cpu (3-5 ball play) I won't tell you where you can get them, but think VP. Combine the files in DOS using the copy command copy /b 658-1.cpu1+658-x.cpu bonddbl.bin The combined files now fit on a 2732 EPROM burn the new 2732 with bonddbl.bin Lift pin 21 on the 2732 EPROM You can hot glue the switch to the EPROM Solder a wire and one end of a 1K resistor the middle leg of the switch. Solder the other end of the wire to pin 21 (A11) of the EPROM Solder the other end of the resistor to +5v (pin 24) of the EPROM Solder the other pin of the switch with a wire to gnd (pin 12) of the EPROM Leave the last pin (if your switch has one - SPDT) open (connected to nothing) When soldering to the EPROM, solder only to the top of the pin (closest to the plastic casing), do not solder to the legs that will be inserted into the socket. Pin 21 won't matter because it will not be inserted into the socket. Remove the original EPROM then insert the new EPROM into the MPU (be sure not to insert it backwards). I know most of you are aware, this is done with power off! If this is done correctly, you will be able to switch between the two. Do not switch with power on!"
  13. Not sure mate. I’ve checked the fuse that controls the displays in the bottom of the cabinet with a multimeter and the fuse is good.
