  1. Thanks Aussiekanga. I'll keep my eyes open for a working A board.
  2. Hey Guys, Thanks to Jomac, I finally got around to replacing the monitor chassis in a lowboy cabinet that had been unused for 10 years. The cabinet has what appears to be a genuine Capcom Final Fight game board and the game was playing fine before it went into hibernation. Now that we've got it running again, it looks like the graphics and sprites are now corrupt. I've done a bit of research and a lot of faults seem to point back to the A board as the likely culprit. The sound is fine and you can play the game, but apart from the graphics issues, sometimes the player characters disappear behind background objects like buildings (if that makes sense). Here's an example of the corruption I've pulled apart all 3 boards and cleaned/reseated all the socketed IC's and ROMS, but the issue still exists. Does what I describe sound like a repairable fault ?. Is it worth pursuing a repair or a replacement of the A board ? Cheers, Dave.
  3. Hey Joey, My new Wei-Ya monitor chassis turned up today (2 days delivery from Perth, WA to Newcastle, NSW - very impressive :-)) Silly question, but there is no setup guide in the box or one that I can find online. How you got some setup tips, or is it mostly plug and play based on the CRT specs I gave to you. Thanks, Dave.
  4. Hi Jomac, I tried to use the Contact Us for on your website, but it kept timing out when I hit submit, so I'll try posting here. I've got a lowboy cabinet with a 20" Samsung CRT and Kortek chassis, which looks a lot like a Nanao MS7-20L copy. The monitor chassis either needs repair or replacement, as the picture isn't stable any more (sort of rapidly runs across the screen at an angle). I measured the resistance at the yoke and it's about 2.7 ohms between red/blue and 55.1 ohms between green/yellow. The CRT is 10-pin. What options can you offer me with either repair or replacement or the chassis ?. I'm in Newcastle, NSW. Thanks, Dave.
  5. Hey folks, Just a quick post to say hello. My name is Dave and I'm from Newcastle, NSW. I've got a lowboy 20" JAMMA cabinet that we're getting back to operational status. It's currently got either a Street Fighter or Street Fighter II PCB in it (I can't remember which, as the monitor chassis is cactus). The cabinet is basically operational, but the monitor chassis either needs repair or replacement. It's got a Kortek chassis that looks a lot like a Nanao MS7-20L copy. I'll try to get in contact with Jomac to see what's on offer with getting it repaired or replaced. Cheers, Dave
