Hey Mate,
These are my current\past solution, they work find just moving around a room on smooth surfaces, but if you hit any bumps they are a pain and tend to slip off, moving up and over lips etc needs lift on\off, I have used mine for a few years and they are cactus now. For someone just wanting to move pins around their room they will do the job, personally I want something to move mine over a few ticking spots.
Cheers,
Beau
Looks great, Did you end up getting it CNC Cut? Was there much trouble going from the sketchup plans to CNC plans? How did you go sourcing parts locally?

Thought I would give this another bash, after a couple of average games I finally got my eye in. Apparently a new GC for me, I was sure I had clocked it before.
As repetitive as this game is I really do enjoy it, I think it is just the theme and the light show.

Hey All, My vpin (and real pin) haven't been getting much love lately, but I thought I should have a crack at Getaway as I have a soft spot for it.
Very rusty but it will do.

Posting scores was allot easier with TapTalk (it handled the images), does anyone have an easier process that the usual forum hosted images?
"Just" updating my DMD's LED Panels, I had first gen hardware which is prone to ghosting, I help out a few people testing DMD colourisations and NetzZwerg noticed the ghosting in some recent testing videos and sorted me out with some new hardware. It snowballed, I didn't make the DMD very serviceable and a few other speed bumps on the way made for a slow upgrade.
All working now, and if anyone is in the market I highly recommend the new EVO DMD's they are a very nice bit of kit, very sleek compared to the first gen boards, @Skylersz is the man to see.

I've only just got my cab back online after a minor upgrade turned into a mountain of work. Just a couple of quick games so I am not completely out of this comp, but to be honest with the dropping of taptalk support posting scores is way more effort that it used to be, so not sure I'll be all in this comp, see how it pans out.

Hey,
Thought I should come back with an update, after 12 months the motor\gears I linked above have been working a treat for me, no more issues with the path movement, no overshoot, no crashing, path moves nice and fast. I haven't seen any negative affects.
Cheers,
Beau
Nice win @kane, well deserved, Thanks for running this and the other 2020 VPGL round @JustAnotherRat, pretty happy to come away with the win against some strong competition. Looking forward to the 2021 comp.
Cheers,
