  1. Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I had a look but couldn't find much at all. I get a bit nervous having to do things via the command line input. Not my area thats for sure. Always wiling to have a go so i will let you know how i get along. Cheers Brad
  2. Yep the F1 key does nothing when in game on SNES. I tried nearly every button and nothing happened except pausing the game.
  3. Hi Intigod, I am using an iPac Ve encoder to connect the joysticks and buttons to the Raspberry Pi. Did not know about the F1 key when in game on SNES, will give that a crack. Cheers
  4. i watched the video and he pretty much says once you assign the controls in MAME it does the majority of emulators but that is not the case as the assigned buttons in MAME don't perform the same functions in the SNES games.
  5. Hi intigod. Thanks for the reply. I did download retroarch but not really sure how to use it. I know it is in the settings options in Retropie but i am not really sure what to do from there. This is my first crack at building an arcade cabinet and used the pi as it was recommended by someone i know so i am fumbling my way through most things. Cheers for responding.
  6. Hi All, I have set up an arcade machine using a raspberry pi and am using retro pie. The games i have in the "Mame-4-All" folder are easy to assign the functions to the joysticks and buttons as you can just push "tab" in game and go from there. I was wondering if anyone knows how to assign functions to the buttons and joysticks if you use the SNES or other folders as the "tab" process does not work. The most frustrating part is not being able to assign and "escape" function to a button so i can exit the game without switching the whole thing off. Any help would be awesome. Cheers Bradmully
