  1. Sounds like you guys could do with a multiopenpinball project that has the capacity to have components moved around but coded for. So for example a bank of targets could be moved from spot A to B and software accounted for. Then you could have a few physical variations and unlimited rule and theme sets made by the community.
  2. It doesn't matter how the ground or switch is wired as long as there is one of each, in NO, normally open. If you tested the ground directly into the terminals and it worked you have broken switches or wires and need to replace/fix them.
  3. I built my vpin from scratch, cab and all, so making this will be a piece of cake. Just looking at getting a KL25Z micro controller. Other option is using the existing VPin and just setting that up to work with the laptop / quest. Probably try that option first.
  4. I've got a Quest2 and a Quest 3 coming. Seriously contemplating building a mini setup with legs, something simple like this.
  5. An arcade switch is completing a circuit / bridging, so if you have a wire connected to ground you can tap the other end on any switch i.e. 1LEFT, 1UP, on the screw in terminal and you should see a button press in your USB controller > properties. This is a method for trouble shooting. No switches in the software mean bad software installation or hardware failure. Then you can go from there. Hardware failure I would check for continuity between the terminal and board on the other side first.
  6. I can pin out the daughter board for you if you want. No idea how the usb works. Looks like it has a barrel jack there for power. Good luck with it.
  7. Here is a picture of mine, was working with a legit board properly. When you say USB are you trying to hook it up to a computer, pi or something similar? The coin mech goes into the daughter that then goes to the Jamma / credit. Therefore, I would guess that two of the ribbons are what you ultimately need making a switch, then you could run that into your keyboard emulator as a button. It might need power also though, which you would have to work out through looking at the specs. My guess is that some of the wiring went to the credit part of the multi boards so you could switch games and keep credits. Hopefully that helps a bit.
  8. I'd be interested in some of the PC setups if you want to part out to someone else. I know you are going for ease, but if someone wants a candy or driving cab minus the PC hit me up. You have done all the work and I am struggling to get the time to. Cheers.
  9. Putting the sale on hold while I advertise elsewhere.
  10. Working well with composite. I don't have a 9 pin to test. Speaker sound good. $400, will consider offers and swaps
  11. Sale on hold on these forums to attempt to sell elsewhere for a while. Will bring back to the forum if there is no interest.
  12. Price drop to $350, ONO. This is on ebay at a higher price also.
