Houseball #1 2024 Rays Place 10th February Westlake

We are back for another year of Houseball. Thanks Cranky for driving the bus for a couple of years but the keys have been handed back to me (just because I don’t have enough to do😊) The only change to this year is we will be introducing some fun side comps. They will be cash games with the winner taking half and half going to the “Houseball Kitty”. So bring some change and join in. See below for details. Main Comp Details 4 hours of qualifying with a 2 p.m start. Finals to be held after dinner which will be at 6pm but if qualifying can be done sooner it will be earlier. Please get your comp games finished ASAP so you have plenty of time to socialize afterwards. Score sheets will be on each machine with attendees names on them. If you name isnt please write it down. Format There will still be an 'A' and 'B' Division with equal prizes in both. You play 6 games on the nominated machines with your best 5 results going towards your final standing. The top 4 placed players will go through to the 'A' division finals . The highest 4 from the second half of the field will go into the 'B' division finals. Finals will be on 3 randomly chosen machines with the 7,5,3,1 format of awarding points. Single round and the person with the most points wins. Tiebreakers are TBA. Side Comp One game will have a modified helmet connected to it. There will be a tilt attached to the helmet. The idea is to keep your head as level as possible while playing. You move your head too much and the game tilts. It is a little hard to explain but it is a lot of fun. Person with the highest score takes half of the entry money and half goes to the Houseball kitty. House rules. Please remember that Houseball is a social event, we are not playing for sheep stations. Please show the hosts and their machines the utmost respect as without them this event ceases to be a thing. Please remove all rings/bracelets when playing. You will be asked to leave if you are found abusing machines/other players. Smokers please ensure you leave no butts around the place. The host should be able to tell you where it is ok to smoke. As usual 30 will be the limit but may be extended at the hosts discretion. And lastly, a bit of friendly banter is encouraged. Food and costs. $10 covers food per person. Listing on behalf of a mate. This is a beautiful machine. The lighting package is spectacular, cabinet is amazing and sound blows you away. JJP has done an excellent job to make you feel you are part of the concert experience. Shaker Motor, Invisiglass, CE Mirrored Backglass, #397 of 500 Made, Drumstick Ramp Signed by Frank Ferrer, Unique CE-Exclusive Playfield Artwork featuring JJP Sparkle, 60Watt JJP Sound Bar. After the below was done I am that confident in the machine I will include 6 months warranty on repairs required. I will also include free delivery. This offer is only for Brisbane purchases. I have uploaded video and more pictures to a Google drive so message me if you would like the link. $19,500. See below for full disclosure of history. “This was the one that was in the Qld floods. However - this is the only machine that was up on a trolley with the playfield above the waterline. With the Radcals, and check up by Pinball Perfection the cabinet is honestly still great. The playfield was stripped, cleaned and rerubbered - the works (20 hours or so of love) and you would be very hard put seeing any issue in this machine. Has the Art of Pinball Shooter rod and a slightly stronger shooter spring. More pics / videos available on request, and there is a good thread on AA showing the flood and repair journey of all the pins impacted that day, a year ago now. Unfortunately it was only just realised that the "goodie" bag is missing (most likely thrown out in the cleanup) and must have contained the signature card that came with the CE.”
