xygt
Please post your findings with it. I've been thinking how to go with trackball support, as I've already got a JPAC and an IPAC, but this may be easier.
Brootal
Soldering wires in may be a bit of a pain, if they had screw in terminals it would be very interesting.
Davefjedi
Soldering doesn't worry me rather solder than have screw terminals I know the connection is 100% then Keen on trying the trackball option on it though anyone got a spare trackball?? Brootal
Yea, soldering's not a problem, but I know what I'm like, I'll want to rip it out for a couple of days to use somewhere else to test some other project....then it becomes a pain
xygt
It looks like you may be able to solder in some connector pin headers instead and crimp some connectors on to the looms. Easy plug and play then.
dmworking247
Yeah it wouldn't have killed them to put screw terminals in... surely you're looking a cents (not dollars) to add that in manufacturing. The trackball support is novel, but these days (for PC based arcade machines) why not just route the mouse/spinner/trackball via a USB port (using a $2 PS2 to USB converter plug)? Because this will allow to connect a generic arcade trackball no problem no hacks ect
