I've not had any 'real' issues with XP Home SP2, sure had to hack in a few patches to remove the artificial limits, other then that it's been great. Then again I still have W98se, more heavily patched, but only ever had to reinstall once in over 5 years of continuous use, still, it is rather limited in this day and age, runs well on the old Athlon 1333, 256MB ram...Live Ubuntu or Mint won't even boot on her?

What is the actual problem with Vista ? What make XP better ?

Just curious ?

I've installed Vista for 2 people now, so far no big issues. Except for Nero insisting to install an older verion of DirectX, hacks to fix that now...

Each to his own.. I've just aquired a HP NC6000 notebook, think of boosting the ram and instaling Vista on it just cause I can!
