Replacing a (Brightness) POT - Help needed

agrajag

Question

Hi All,

First post here, so be kind please :lol

I had a Brightness Pot break off on my lowboy arcade monitor.

I am wondering how to locate a replacement (I am in Adelaide SA)

The part no is 303M8539 and google hasn't helped me identify it.

Without this pot the monitor goes crazy.

Any help appreciated.

brightness pot

Hi, if the number you have ( 303M8539 ) is on the body of the pot, then I would assume the first three digits were actually it's value.

The first two digits are your variable & the third is your multiplier.

eg: 30x 10 to the power of 3 (or easier, add 3 zeroes to your 30) which will give you 30, 000 ohms ( 30K ). Regards, Sparky
