Just let anyone who decides to buy parts from Ultimarc that freight takes about five days to Australia, very impressive. :D

Just ordered 2 Mag Stick Plusses, I-Pac 2 and an assortment of different buttons for a built from scratch cocktail cabinet.

Once I have it all up and going I'll post some pictures here and give my opinion of the joysticks in case others are thinking of ordering these.

The mag Stick Plus is just a new name for the old T-Stick Plus (wonder why he changed the name). Nice to see he now sells them with a balltop as previously you had to buy the balltop shaft seperately (which I did). I've had T-Sticks and T-Stick plus' on both my cabs in the past. Personally I love them but if you are into fighters you are probably going to hate them. They have a short throw, are tightly sprung and are very 'clicky'. Andy has tried to compensate for this by offering switches with lighter springs but they don't change it much.

Like I said I love mine and any upright cab I own will have them in it. I'll have to get something else for my cocktail though as I think they are going to be too deep and may foul on the monitor (SI style cocktail).

I have in the past pruchased for myself (and Ryan) Aracde VGA's, J-Pac's, I-Pac's, Mini-Pac's, sticks and buttons from Ultimarc and have been impressed every time.

OzStick re-sell Ultimarc products here in Australia for those who want to buy locally. You can save by going direct to Andy but if you don't want to wait or are worried about international shipping/customs etc then buy from Chris.

They are actually a different stick, almost identical but they use a magnet to centre and apparently thay feel more precise, so I have read.

Doh, thanks. Would have helped if I'd read the description first as it does indeed work as you describe. I only looked at the pics and they look 100% identical to T-Sticks from the angles he's shot them.

I'll have to get myself a couple of those soon then!

Remember that OzStick is an Ultimarc reseller:

Support Australian business and buy through OzStick when you can. Chris ("Mr OzStick" himself) is a top guy, and runs a great business.

Chris built my entire CP for me in this picture:

It uses Ultimarc J-Stick balltops, and was all wired (EXTREMELY neatly) to an iPac on the underside. Great service and friendly advice the whole way.

I always try and buy Australian when I can even if it costs a little more but unfortunately OzStick doesn't carry all of the Ultimarc range and I was especially after the Mag Stick Plus.
