Name and shame: Poorly maintained pinball tables.

NextWish

Question

Intencity, located in the Macquarrie Shopping Center (Sydney, AUS) is the first contestant:

1) Six months ago - Things hole started to malfunction and their six was to super glue a square tazo from a chip packet over the hole.

2) The flippers need a complete rebuild

3) The bookcase is broken

4) Every time you make the upper ramp shot the electronics used to signify a free game activate, meaning if you can actually make the shot due to the shitty flippers the machine is loud as hell - it does have a plus side, that being ramp combos have never sounded soooo good.

5) Balls get stuck when going down the right outlane and you have to slap the crap out of the table, risking a tilt.

6) Usual broken switches....

I saw a Shaq near Maryborough recently where the operator had BOGGED UP WITH PUTTY one of the upkicker holes...!

You'd think it would have been easier to just repair the upkicker.

Oh, and the right flipper was completely broken, which is a bit of a problem given that all balls launch initially onto the right flipper.

Not sure if its there still but at Barcode at the Crown casino they have a Stern Playboy. Its totally fucked. I could not believe it. The playfield is black. Looks like someone poured a drink all over it and the dirt is just sticking to everything. Flippers stick.

I can't believe a machine that is so new was in such poor shape. Anyone else see that one?

Yes Yes Yes

This is a top contender for the crapper of the year, has been like this for ages and the rest of the machines there are on par. At the Matilda near Gympie, worth it to pull in for a laugh to ease the tension of a long drive.

Stargate and Independance Day

Weak Flippers and balls get caught all over the place.....meaning you need to smack the shit out of them to get them to work.

Also the ID day has the works coin mech in the world.....always jammed with coins.

Addams family - poor condition, dirty playfield, bumpers dead, weak flippers, general illumination -non existant, centre scoop loose,

machine not levelled correctly ( leaning left), broken swamp upstand

Galaxy World on the top level of Market City in Haymarket, Sydney.

World Poker Tour machine has a fairly dirty playfield, a few quite worn rubbers (the rubber behind the centre drop targets looks like it's going to snap any second) and a quite annoying issue where it thinks that there's one extra ball on the table than there is during a multiball, so sometimes during a multiball when you run out of balls the machine just sits there thinking there's still one out there.

:D couln't help ourselves called in on The Shaq at Gympie Matilda on our weekend roadtrip. The bog has been replaced by milk bottle and clear silican gave it a go any way flippers both working but very soft, made a basket and in shut down and whent into test mode:unsure :unsure so we moved onto Point Blank it has a gourgeous pink sheen to the screen and the guns only work about 2 inches off the screen and to reload you need to shoot over your shoulder:D :D :D my vote is for Gympie Matilda for the worstest ever
