Mickey Juice
Looks like it's time for Bumper Amusements to drag out the same crap again. Will be interesting to see the pinny's up for grabs tho. :) http://www.bumper.com.au/home.asp At least it's not a 'closing down' 'last ever' auction like they always say it is. terry007
has anyone bid on their stuff from inter-state? I might be interested in some stuff, just waiting for the catalogue to go online. The last(?) bumper auction I bid on a Incredible Hulk pinny over the phone from Adelaide. It started off at some incredibly high "internet" bid (this is a supposed bid received B4 auction on the website) and it went for over $3300!! Funnily enough it was for sale on their site the weeks B4 the auction for $2500, even then i thought it was too much. It sounded to me that they were getting bids from the pot plants, I couldnt hear anyone else "singing out" their bids but it kept going up and up.:unsure
Mickey Juice
I went to this auction last Nov. The prices do get a bit high (at the time I didn't realise). I got in a bidding war with a phone bidder for a Class of 1812 pin. Some of the pins were a decent price, but some of the arcade machines were too high... I still have the original list here and the prices they went for. Remember there's GST and I think 3% fee added to the final bid too. Afterwards they put the reserve bids online... thus the reason why there wasn't many bargains to be had.. they all had really high reserves, esp. the private items. It sounded to me that they were getting bids from the pot plants, I couldnt hear anyone else "singing out" their bids but it kept going up and up.:unsure Everyone gets a number that you just wave, you dont have to sing out. Unless no one turned up to that particular auction :D

Shock_And_Awe
just checked the items that did not sell. They are all selling at the reserve prices now. All I can say is that it's no wonder they didn't sell - I can't believe how much they want for their pinballs.... Dr Who $3999 with no topper Simpsons Pinball Party $9000 these are available in Dec at AMD for $7250 BNIB Creature from Black Lagoon $5500 Turn it up!! Maybe I'm just bout of touch with reality?? Guest Wotto
This Pinny has just turned up on ebay. $3500 he paid and the display is now kaput WOW !!!! Thats a nice loss then - I am sure he is quite happy with Bumper right now. Man - I would let mine go for $2200 or more if I thought I could get that for it and mine is in DAMNFINE condition and ALL the displays work , oh but ( read his Ebay description ) mine was never played by Eric Bana :106: does he think that is worth something?
