elvis
There's not a single project that professional hardware hacker Ben Heck has done that hasn't impressed me. Once again he delivers the goods with a Commodore 64 original hardware to laptop conversion. http://benheck.com/04-05-2009/commodore-64-original-hardware-laptop The unit gets modded into a nice portable device, complete with a bit of kit from another hardware hacker that allows SD cards to be used on the original C64 hardware via the floppy drive interface! Truly amazing stuff.
dmworking247
That is definately amazing. I'd love to be able to mould plastic like that. On a more practical note though, I'm sure there are a lot of us who would love to be able to aquire the SD>FDD interface to play our C64 roms on the original hardware without the volatile original media. Just think if he did that 25 years ago! We wouldn't have seen those bloody Osbourne's and SX64's

Hewitson
Yeah the N64 portable was pretty ridiculous but nothing compares to the Neo Geo "portable". http://benheck.com/neo-geo-mvs-portable
