Question
Mr Pubstuff
not a bbq snag, but a pain in the ass snag.
im not sure if this prob doesnt lay in the computer section of the forum but here we go.
i got a cocktail cab from relik. got a 48 in 1 from gamedude. got a pc power supply out of an old p1 or p2 lying around, got some good advice and the confidence to do it all myself from crafty, got a 17" lcd screen and got it all working very nicely apart from breaking a microswitch but thats not the issue, its when i power it up thats where it goes wrong.
it works beaut if i manually power on the monitor once i turn the cabinet power on, but when i turn off the machine, the monitor wont come back on automatically like it did when it was on the pc. if it goes to sleep or the cab turned off it stays off and i would of course like it to boot back up when it gets a signal from the board and not have to open the lid each time to manually click the monitor switch (cos that aint gonna happen).
what gives?
is there anything i can do apart from get a new 17" lcd which may do the same thing or have i found out something that everyone already knows about 48 in 1 boards or lcd's on jamma boards?
its a benq FP71E+ monitor
