Shock_And_Awe
Hi Guys, I sold a cab to a guy with a SF2CE pcb in it. He just sent me an email asking why Blanka flashes/switches with Ryu in the game. It's kind of like he's half Blanka/half Ryu. I've never played much of SF2 before but remember this happening to me too. Is this a common fault? Do all SF2's do this? Thanks. MadMikeAU
Blanka + Pyu = A flaming homo LMAO Sounds like a board fault to me. Sounds predictable ... :unsure
sneek
Its not one of the hacked versions is it ? Pic of the title screen will show you in most cases.

To describe it better, while Blanka is still it will be him but the moment you move the joystick he sometimes flashes as if the character is Ryu. sneek
Not sure if its a hacked board then... as that doesn't sound like any version i know of... so can't be sure. Most hacked versions are legit capcom boards with added roms. Again you can tell from the colour of the title screen... they are different colours for different versions. So if you can find out what colour it is then you have a starting point.

It can still be an original Capcom board and be a hacked version. I'd say you have yourself a Rainbow or Black belt edition. On the start up screen, get him to check if the words "Street Fighter" or rainbow coloured or an alternative colour to the usual yellow.

Shock_And_Awe
the guy just got back to me and said the title "Street Fighter" is in yellow and blue. Any idea what this means?
Super Moderator WOKA Posted August 1, 2006 Super Moderator Share Posted August 1, 2006 Tell him is a limited and very speical release of SF..! To your knowledge, one of a kind..!
sneek
Yellow and blue is the normal colour scheme for Sf2 champ ed. Might be a faulty board then... The glich you described doesn't ring a bell to any hacked versions i know. How ever i think there are a few which are hacked and still use the original title screen... yellow edition maybe ?
