Does this sound suspect?

Hey guys, got a response from a WTB ad and apart from the price being a bit steep for a FM Apron I find it strange why a Yank would want British Pounds payment. What do you think, does it smell fishy??

Thanks for the mail.I have RFM parts you are looking for.I would be asking a 150GBP for the requested parts including postage.I can ship via Ups or FedEx which ever you prefer.I would accept payment via Western union or Money gram.Whats your complete shipping address including postage code?

Thanks,

Keith.

He will be residing in Nigeria, not the good old US of A

Yeah but his bank accounts are Swiss via the Cayman Islands ....

Using the payment methods he asked for is VERY , VERY dodgy . Ask him to list them on ebay as BIN and even add on what he will pay in fees . I bet he won't .

I think this is the final update to this saga. I asked him to put it on ebay with BIN and haven't heard from him since. He did insist prior for my delivery address details over and over. Why is that?

Does he need this info to get access to payment if I sent it? If someone knows it would could save someone any heart ache getting conned by these guys.

150 quid for an apron (was that the only part?) is HUGE

that alone would have caused me concern as this guy is clearly fishing to see if you will take the bait on something incredibly overpriced.

giving address details also means they can match your email to your address and go from there to get other info about you
