few questions about my 29 (?) lai upright

gday, ive had this lai 29inch (i think thats what it is) cabinet for a few years now and was just an empty cabinet which i bought to use as a leathal enforcers cabinet. since then i have put a computer screen in it and a 48 in one.

eventually i will be thinking of putting the leathal enforcers or a buckhunter in there, getting a monitor for it, tiding it up and respraying it.

my questions are,

-i have seen some of them but none look like this. did they come out at all in this upright monitor set up or has someone just buggerised around with it?

 

-for a shooter would it be best if i left the screen in an 90* angle or should i put it back in its original angle?

 

-what size monitor did this come out with and what are the options that i can replace it with?

 

-i called into a plastics place to see if i could get a marquee plastic made up and he quoted me $70 i was amazed at how much it was going to be.

is this really a crazy price or is this the kind of price i should expect to pay for a pissy piece of plastic bent up

they came with upright monitors and can be rotated

 

also that price for plastic is off its tits

sorry i mean the angle of the whole monitor cabinet part

if you see this picture the screen isnt at a 90* angle like mine

ahahah will do once i stop buying games and maybe save up for a screen :P

i think i can pretty much just take the black boards off and lower it down to its original angle.

the plastic does is a trapezoid (had to look it up haha) and has a bend up the top and then clips into a slot up the top of the marquee box. photo wasnt too good

 

i might put a piece of board up the top so i can just make a flat piece of plastic to put in it so i will save money

Osty , That is a 26" 63cm Cab , LAI didn't make upright cabs with 29" monitors .

 

Really popular cab for shooting games , have seen heaps using that same screen angle. , only problem is people hit the screen with the guns and often break the glass .
