The shift in a drop

Recommended Posts

It seems lately(with age) when theres no beer the wine gets a nudge, there was a time when the policy was "NO BEER NO DRINK" but with the influence of a couple of people around me who make wine ive come to enjoy the odd glass.

Any others here with the same policy swayed to the skirty side?

i never used to really drink wine but these days there isnt anything better than a nice red with a fat rare steak. i wouldnt be drinking it after a hard days work or anything but its definately good with a meal.

not a fan of whites and rose tho they all remind me too much of goon bags when i was 14

Can't beat a good shiraz outta the bottle..

One day (maybe my 40th) I'm drinking 97 Grange (straight out of the bottle) and eating mudcrabs straight from the pot.. Total decedance in my book..! ;)

Love a beer, a good red and don't mind the chardonnay on a nice summer's day. One of best drinking experiences was a bottle of Henschke - Hill of Grace, absolutely a divine experience. ( and free :D)

Some of Henschke's offerings would easily take the pepsi challenge with a grange....

Depends on the company, wine is much better with a meal than a beer, particularly a red, but it depends what you're eating. Beer is much better for relaxing and cooling down after a day at work. And for serious drinking you can't go past the spirits.
