Another tv Problem

Hey Joey

we have a tv in the loungeroom that suffers from a grey and white fuzz at either the bottom or top of the picture or both, when it is first fired up.

What would be causing this? and would the tube be still suitable for a future project?

Does this fuzz go away ? how long does it last and is it slightly shaking ?

As for the tube be suitable for a future project , what brand and size is it ?

yeah once it warms up it goes away

it jumps around a fair bit

It is a 54cm Panasonic

probably lasts for 5 mins

Sounds very much like the same issue Narf is seeing where the posister is staying on ( auto degaussing )

It's not a tube problem :)

Also are you sure this is a 54cm ?? that is a very odd size , unless it is over 20 years it should be 51cm or 59cm.
