Shock_And_Awe
Fair Dinkum Dan was generous enough to get some mods for some of my games and I also had a few laying around that were due to be installed. I thought I'd post some pics.... First up is the Indi Ark http://www.virginmedia.com/images/1indy-idol-ark-of-the-coven.jpg Please note: that the above image is not the "times_a_wasting" IJ Ark mod. Shock_And_Awe
hmm actually my pics suck - all blurry just like my vision is today after a heavy night last night :lol and all my attachment space has gone so I can't post them - I'll have to delete other stuff first. Too hard to think about right now lol - Can you delete the thread or just take my word for it that they look really good:p

Shock_And_Awe
ok some pics now... First up the Indi Ark. An expensive little piece but beatifully made with lots of detail. It's actually some kind of metal and is quite heavy. It has a green LED on the top that flashes for the ark jackpot and on the front has a red LED for when the Jackpot is lit and a yellow LED for when the POA is lit (pic doesn't show the LEDs very well). It sits nicely on the right ramp entrance and fits in very well. I think BAA has them for $145 USD :o but I think the guy sells them on eBay for around $75 or so. Expensive but very nice. Sitting on the ruins is an Indi figurine. I definitely don't normally go for this sort of stuff but I think he looks pretty cool up there with his gun and whip in hand :D You can also see AskJacob's POA LEDs. Next is the TZ lamp. The original used to annoy me because the light would shine out of the corner crack and into my eyes. This lamp is very nice. Next one is LED eyes and flames coming out of the dragon's mouth for MM. It looks very nice and of course my pic doesn't show it very well.

pinball god
Think the mods are great. I like mods that are quality and add to the machine. The gumball mod, is it the one with the red and white leds. I have this one and its great, When the gumball is active, it flashes red otherwise is illuminated white the ark is simply the best mod I've seen for detail
Shock_And_Awe
The TZ gumball light kit is from Pinbits and it sounds like you've got the same one - this has the red LEDs that flash when the gumball is ready to be loaded. Some more mods.... - I've had these in for a while but the LED troll eyes are one of the best mods on any game :) - the green swamp light in Addams is just a simple lighting mod that brightens the previously dark swamp area. Not bad, cheap mod that is worthwhile, no big deal though. - The pic doesn't show too well but this is the scoop light kit for Fester's chair. Inside the scoop glows either red or yellow depending on what is lit. Not great this one and I wouldn't bother with it personally. Top quality item these.

A big thank you again to you and Hayley for your hospitality and for showing me around the Sunshine Coast. It was also great to meet Ando and play some pin over a few drinks too. Another top bloke, for sure. :023: The Lost Ark certainly does look awesome and, like all of Garys mods that he makes and sells, they are very well made and very easy to install. The green led is actually linked to the "ark" lamp insert on the playfield in front of the flippers just above the "Sallah" insert figure. As Mark stated, the red lamp is linked to the jackpot light mode and the yellow with the Path of Adventure mode. It looks really cool. Some other members here have also added the Indiana Jones action figure to the right side of the playfield on the Idol ruins and I also agree it looks quite cool there with his gun and whip. Another couple of Garys cool looking mods is the lit dragon, which is now on Marks Medieval Madness and it too is very well made and easy to install. Mark has forgotten to mention the lit trolls on MM which look fantastic, one with red led eyes the other with green led eyes. Skooters (Scott) TZ mini playfield lamp mod is another cool mod. He has just released a new version which is chromed for those that might prefer a shiny lamp cover instead of the usual stainless steel version. Either way, the lamp mod is an improvement on the original due to the "Twilight Zone" inscription on the sides and a full metal front to limit the amount of light escaping. He also does another limited release version with the "Lost in the Zone" inscription too. He was selling blue, red or yellow lit ones. Cheers, Dan
