nuckles Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 My top light wont work on my getaway pin. I have tried to test and found the two wires going to the bulb have power? I have the manual and was reading it cant work it out. I am a mechanic and am looking at it as a 12v system like a car power and earth. I set I to run with the test menu. Disconnect I have power one wire nothing other. I tried to power the light and motor with a 12v jump pack the light will light but motor wont turn? As I've stated elsewhere, the motor/gearbox assemble was un-reliable and often failed. During testing, does the motor try to turn? If so, suspect the motor/gearbox is faulty. Regards, Johns-Arcade. I thought that the light would light even if the motor wont spin. I was googling triac boards and found that they also fail. Maybe thats where i should look.
