In time to come, I reckon Elvis will be worth a fortune.

Mark my words and we will see if I'm right or not in a few years, but the Title just reeks of big collectable in time.

yer sure David

(hows your Elvis going LOL)

Tony,

Its a new rubber etc on both. Guy is an ELVIS nut!!! I gave him some flyers for the machines...... yeh im a 50's freak OK?

LOL!

Tell the truth, im not sure the guy is aware of what he is sitting on, but i plan to tell him when i go there - is in Albany Creek.

He pays for the parts - im just happy to work on em for a carton of beer.... gotta love that currency! Just to work on an ELVIS gold will be a pleasure

Im after an Elvis myself at some point..... last one i knew of sold for $5K and thats to a dealer price

There is the answer to the first question then. Obviously the seller deemed the price too cheap and tried to shill it up, only to be caught out with the machine still in his possession.

Same will happen again for interested peep's no doubt so be careful...

Elvis starting at $1.00 woud be luck to reach any higher that 4,800 at tops.

Alot of better machines around for that price these days.

Dollar is everyones language, and at the moment harder to get.

Next your going to tell me that a MB or a CV are worth 8,500 plus

Machines ar ony worth what people are willing to pay atm.

Cannot even get 5,000 for a house use only simpsons party.

Easy to say BBB or even a CC are worth 15,000 , now how long are you going to

have this sitting on the shop floors. try a year or 2.

Just my 2 cents worth

I agree with Falcon.

Elvis is a good theme but I couldn't get with it when I played it, to me it is way too shallow looks nice and thats about it.

I wonder who is going to pay the expensive that those selling are going to demand and what is the potential buyer getting really, a pink box with Elvis on it and plays a few of his songs and the dancing elvis doll. They'll play it a few times and it will gather dust in the corner, as it does now on show room floors.

I think a real pinball player (those currently in the market looking to buy at the moment) is not going to bother to even think about get one, or may have it on their "got to get Stern Elvis sometime if its cheap list'. Only some guy or girl in their 40-70's and very into Elvis and has just about everything Elvis anyway is going to consider or make a purchase seriously.

As for LOTR, its a player, the theme is good but its going to date.

TSPP is best of both worlds, a good player and a great well known theme that everybody is familiar with no matter what age.

Elvis is passe Im afraid and the appeal is very limited. Always will be.

Give me a TSPP or LOTR if we are taking recent titles.
