RaMpAgE
Hi Joey, I am in need of 2 components on the neck board that are broken (the 2 bulb looking things) do you have these on a dusty shelf somewhere? Also here is the chassis that runs the CRT, it was working ok untill the screen broke. Do you have a chassis to run the B/W screen (7 pins)? Cheers
Jomac
Hi Joey, I am in need of 2 components on the neck board that are broken (the 2 bulb looking things) do you have these on a dusty shelf somewhere? Cheers Very obvious from your pictures that the flyback is very dead so replacing those Spark arrestor bulbs is going to be a waste of time. All chassis have them but newer ones look more like a capacitor. Sorry mate I dont have anything to do with B&W monitors anymore , not for at least 15 years now , there is no demand at all now or anything available. There might be a couple of guys on the forum that have stuff they can help you with , also seen a bit of B&W stuff for sale on eBay.

wonder1
hi ramage in the same boat as you regarding b/w stuff.:cry Can you change the flyback only on the chassis with a know working one off a faulty B/w chassis or you cant mix and match brands.:unsure
RaMpAgE
I am going to change the spark arrestor bulbs anyway if I can get a hold of any (anyone got a source for some?????????????) just to make sure its stuffed before I go down another path as I can hook it all up and see if I have a picture. arcadus
Not really needed for it to work, safety devices in case of overvoltage or shorts. Modern neckboards have tracks with gaps through the PCB for the same effect.

arcadus
But as Jomac pointed out, the flyback doesn't look too good.

The CRT neck glass broke as I stated earlier in this thread thats why I'm friggin around and getting all tense and stuff;)
Jomac
I did read the part about it working before the CRT broke , but the flyback looks like it was arcing and has almost caught on fire while it was running. Flybacks are not interchangeable it has to be an exact match , also curious what you plan to try this chassis on if the CRT is broken ?
