Nick64
Anybody got a T2 that has this problem. When ball is hit into cpu skull most of the time the ball makes it into hole, behind skull. About one in 30 the ball gets lodged behind skull on metal plate off the playfield . I think on my game the target you knock down to get into cpu sticks up 2or3 mm when knocked down.If anyone has this game can you just see if your target goes all the way down or sticks up a couple of mm. cheers nick... Is it getting stuck just after the drop down target or further in? There was (afaik) a service bulletin with balls getting stuck in that area. There should be some foam stuffed between the back of the skull and ramp.. If you are unsure of where I mean I will post a photo
longreach
Hi mate, do you mean it gets stuck in the little gap left by the drop down target? If so then I have the same problem, sometimes after shooting to start the game it is going slow enough to get stuck in there. When the machine goes through it's ball clearing cycle it dislodges. I don't really find it that annoying, lets me get a swig of beer in.... :)

I was running on the memory banks... http://www.pinball.com/Williams/tech/sb33.html Probably not directly related to your prob, but it should be there anyway....Ballypinball may be able to give a better answer... Mine gets stuck too where the drop target goes down.....

Martyj
might be worth checking the playfield angle guys. i've never had this problem :unsure Mine use to do it nearly every time (stuck on drop down target)...I agree re the angle. I've changed it twice and has improved both times...Just needs a little more tweaking....

Harts
Slammers T2 was doing the same thing, the ball would sit in the groove that the drop down goes into and then when the target goes up it pushes it up into the skull. It only happened when the ball went up that way slow enough to just sit in that spot, not sure if he has looked at it yet I will ask an see what he has done. slammer
Problem was solved by levelling the machine and setting the playfield to 6.5'
Martyj
HI guys, There may be another solution to this problem is your still having issues with the ball getting stuck around the drop target under the skull. Check what type of actual drop target is in there. It should have a wide top on it, basically wide enough to cover the entire hole. With the target down, run your finger over the top. The top of the target should be 100% level with the playfield. If its not, there is a screw at the base of the target (on the bracket) which can be adjusted to adjust the height of the target when its down... If you need a photo let me know!
