I think it was the Haka that did it - or at least Australia's response to it. It reeked of overconfidence.

Yeah you are right. They were over confident.

Ricky Stuart didn't front up to the press conference because he probably thought it was in the bag as well. Fuck you Sticky. Show your respect or eat humble pie! They offered him the coaching job for life before the game. Too much confidence man. Eat shit.

You stole Robbies Deans, we steal Wayne Bennett.

Wooohhhooooooo!

its about Sport :015: and the Kiwi's actually winning something for once?

That's 3 times in 15 years they've managed to beat Australia.

Sure picked the right game to do it :cry

It is just before the Australia Vs New Zealand World Cup Final. Darren Lockyer goes into The Australian changing room to find all his team mates looking a bit

glum.

"What's up?" he asks.

"Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only New Zealand. They're shit and we can't be bothered."

Darren Lockyer looks at them and says, "Well, I reckon I can beat them by myself, you lads go down the pub."

So Darren Lockyer goes out to play Australia by himself and the rest of the Australian team go off for a few Schooners.

After a few schooners they wonder how the game is going, so they get the publican to put the tv on. A big cheer goes up as the screen reads "Australia 4 - New Zealand 0 (Lockyer scores at 10 minutes)". He is beating New Zealand all by himself!

Anyway, a few schooners later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers, "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on."

They put the TV back on.

"Result from Suncorp Stadium Australia 4 (Lockyer scores at 10 minutes) - New Zealand 4 ( Nathan Cayless 79 minutes)."

They can't believe it; he has single-handedly got a draw against New Zealand!!

They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate Darren Lockyer. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sitting with his head in his hands.

He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down."

"Don't be daft, you got a draw against New Zealand, all by yourself.

And they only scored at the very, very end!"

"No, no, I have, I've let you down...I got sent off after 12 minutes."
