I have an old 26" monitor in a Hanking cab I'm doing up (cab was hacked by prev owner to fit it :(). The chassis ia an EYGO (same on on JOMAC's site, but a brown PCB, not green), and the tube is an RCA (A63adt10x05). When I got this cab about 10 years ago, an operator said that I should get rid of the monitor as they were crap. It always did have a slightly washed out look, and where I had it last time I could never get it properly degaussed (could be the position of the cab??). Has not been in a working cab for a while now. Are they generally worth keeping, or should I give it the flick? Do either this tube or chassis generally give problems? My main question is whether they ever really give a nice sharp picture? I know it is hard to comment without seeing it, but any input would be appreciated.
