jockdownunder
Ive downloaded tiny xp for the OS for my cab project.I thought it would have been a bootable image, but thats not the case. The files are - "Windows Tiny XP SP2 Unattended [103Mb ISO] (Uses Just 40Mb RAM!) [16.11.05] (eXPerience)" - although it says ISO in this title,it looks like an exe. and "Check.sfv" There is a read me file too,but with no installtion tips. I did try and make and ISO from them, but the PC doesnt recognise it when I try to boot from it at start up. Can anyone help ? or is there a bootable ISO version floating about the net that I can grab ? Gary

Administrators furballx Posted September 21, 2008 Administrators Share Posted September 21, 2008 All I did was burn the ISO image to disk using NERO then install as usual off that disk. Can't recall which version though. Dave.

OzStick
G'Day Gary, I highly recommend a DIY approach to XP by using nLite. Do a bit of a search here for "stripped XP" but in particular, have a look at the following thread for info: http://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php?t=16157 The beauty of doing it this way is you can choose from stacks of variables and fine tune XP so it only includes what YOU want.
