ktm450
I was wondering if many people had any of the This Old Pinball DVDs done by Marvin http://marvin3m.com/top/ Are they worth purchacing? I was thinking of buying #3 & #4. Did anyone have problems displaying the NTSC format? Regards, Matt.
Super Moderator stuba Posted July 17, 2008 Super Moderator Share Posted July 17, 2008 I'd like to borrow a set and have a look as well.
terry007
Ive got TOP 1 on Ems, good for a look, contains some good stuff. The first DVD I bought only played half way thru, returned it and they sent a new one, no questions asked. They play fine on multi region DVDs, which most should be. I keep thinking to order the full set, but I always forget ! they are, some stuff I don't agree with for example using super glue to seal paint lol but a lot of time has been put into the DVD's and are a must for any do it yourself backyard pinball collector

AskJacob
Simplified: ------------ ripping off a soulless mega corp, go ahead... rip off an enthusiast, and feel the wrath.* ------------ We need to keep the quality stuff alive. This is exactly where piracy would hurt - it would be noticeable in this niche market, and as an enthusiast, if you saw it happen, you'd get the shits, and not bother producing anymore. jyebow
All the money from the DVD's get donated to that pinball hall of fame in Las Vegas. Thats a great reason to support them. Tim Arnold , the man behind the pinball hall of fame was talkin' to Shaggy & Norm about that , on one of their TOPCAST programs.http://marvin3m.com/topcast/past.php One day I'll get there, the Misses & Kids will think they're going to the US to go to Disneyland. Yeah right ;) Edited July 20, 2008 by jyebow mistyped
Scotty T
I bought 2. But would have been nice to have a least a printed CD label, instead of a fresh burn homie job with nikko writing.
