Soul Caliubur is " NON WORKING" state in MAME. The games doesn't run....it boots and goes in game but the graphics just goto shit with nothing on the screen.

I'm not sure how GAMEX handles non working mame games but it might not show them and thus the reason why you aren't seeing it? I could be wrong though

check you mame confi / advanced options

things like using nebula and zinc, if you use zinc installed yet havent installed that emulator then they will not show.

Allso defualt settings in Gameex does not allow games that have problems such as " Screen flippin or Colour corrections" to show (soul calibur isnt 100% so this wont show), you will need to disable these options to show all games and then rescan the list again to rebuild the database.

best way to check through mame or any other varient through the emulator first and look how many games you have then compare that to the gameex list. If there is less in the gameex list then you know you are hiding these games. Allso take into account gameex default doesnt allow porn and majong games.

Hope this all helps.

Allso a note to you is that when using zinc and nebular ect ect you will need to run the emulators sepratly and configure the key bindings for each game else when you run them through Gameex they will not work correctly. :) ...

Allso a note to the above Post Soul calibur works fine just some graphic Gliches (it works for me anyway).

if followed that guide to show everything in game ex cept i disabled the one setting that makes it show every single game, not just the ones i dont have. Ok, so i need to use zinc to play soul calibur? i will have to set that up. thanks. Its probably gonna lag though so i might not bother. Tekken has a bit of lag (im running this all on a 1.9ghz pc with 1 gig of ram) but i have the psx emulator so i might just get the iso's.

Yeh mine runs fine but i am running a q6600 over clocked to 3.4 Ghz atm with 2GB of over clocked ram allso a Geforce 8500 with 1gb ram DDR3 . So 99% of my stuff runs as full speed and some stuff like dc emulators runs about 250% the speed it should lol ...

Hello to all, I'm new here I have some questions to ask. First, how to download MAME ROMs, the second one is how to play these games after downloading them. I read about MAME Emulators and the first that pop-ups on google are some emulator named RetroArch is a good emulator for a beginner like me, and to mention it that I want to play it on my PC.
