OK I spose I should of added to my post why I wanted cherry.

I have many brands of micro switches but the cherry's are quiet and have a nicer softer feel than the hard click of the other brands That I have.

In that case can yous recommend soft quiet feel microswitch?

I would always keep spares if one or more died anyways.

Hell! I got loads of shit ones :D

If your interested I have brand new MATSUSHITA micro switches for a dollar each plus postage

Are they as described in my above message?

Yeah, I'm considering going leaf for my next one, both for buttons and joystick. Not very happy with the noise by these micro switches, they all seem very loud to me.

That said I've yet to put em behind the 16mm mdf which may reduce the noise a lot, but I'm not too hopeful.

I just know my partner is gonna go nuts if I start playing a game while she's watching the tv and the buttons are a clicking! man she gets pissed if I have the door open in the office while I'm typing and she's trying to get to sleep!

Is there a quiet micro? Also I'm curious if the swana comes with cherries or another brand of micro, cause the ones I brought the other day from game dude seem to be pretty loud.

MDF helps but its still noticeable, I got the cherry's with some happ buttons from GameDude. Did You buy those other white ones from GameDude "ACE" brand or something like that from memory?

I don't want them silent coz I know thats impossible with microswitches.

Cherry or similar with do me, Once again must feel softer, rather than the clunk-clunk of the ones I have now (almost like a toggle switch :) )
