theduke
Hi, I've had a 48 in 1 game board die, all I get is the red flashing led on the PCB, nothing else. Was working ok. anyone have any idea's or a schematic on the power supply
0 narf_
try running it on a pc monitor perhaps (u will have to change the dip) that could help narrow things
0 spacies
Have you checked the power supply? Check 5V.
0 xygt
A PC power supply will work as well to help narrow it down. The red light will come on if the board is plugged in backwards.

0 Lord-Data
These things haven't been around long, have they? shouldn't they technically be under some kind of warranty? 12-months like typical electronics gear? Just a thought :)
0 spacies
Yes, they carry a warranty. I haven't had one die on me before. Not saying its not possible, just unlikely. The duke, you sure the connector is on the right way?
0 steve2000
Good luck trying to get a warranty out of most of the people selling them. They will say they have no control over how they are handled once they leave their premises. There are a few people who offer warranty though. I am no noob and had the exact same problem, harness was always in correctly. Power was no different either. Lucky I had multiple boards to test at the time to make sure it wasn't my setup. :( Edited May 29, 2008 by LOTR4U

Same thing for a lot of electronics tho .. computer parts, motherboards.. easy things to break, but still required to be covered under warranty.. it's just this is an industry where most people selling PCB's are so used to them all being 20 years old, that warranty never even comes into question :)
