gints
Hey guys, I know its possible to use a TV tube as quite an efficient arcade monitor with a decent chassis (ie Jomac Universal). I am considering a cab just for PS2 after my hybrid project is dying, and am considering a decased TV, plain and simple. I figure why go from something designed for TV, mod it up for arcade, then back to a TV tube. Is there any disadvantage to just using a TV in its regular operation for a PS2 project? The only hitch i could think of would be that most PS2 games are 480i I believe, and this interlacing may become very apparent standing at an arcade machine (30cm from the screen). I realised after writing this that it is pretty far removed from an 'arcade' project...really just a PS2 and a TV. What do you think
