Experiencers

Anyone catch this documentary? It was really interesting. Didn't get the chance to record it and I'm trying to find out where I can get a copy. Anyone happen to record it?

Respected Harvard Professor of Psychiatry Dr John E. Mack shocked the world when he concluded that the hundreds of patients he was treating who claimed they had been abducted by extra terrestrials weren't actually crazy.

 

After hearing the testimonies of both children and adults from across the world who had experienced encounters with 'aliens' - all of whom knew that their stories sounded insane - Mack concluded that these were "people of sound mind, sincere and extremely disturbed by their experiences."

 

As Mack became more convinced of the truth of their stories, he gave these abductees the name 'experiencers'. They all gave uncannily similar testimonies, describing almost identical sequences of paralysis, probing and loss of memory during alien visitation. Although none of them had met each other, all victims independently provided the same physical description of their abductors as well.

 

Without actually confirming or denying the existence of aliens, Mack concluded that, after having spoken to hundreds of 'experiencers', the testimonies of human abduction by aliens "had a kind of robust truth" to them. This lead to the inevitable question - "If this is real, then what does that mean?"

 

Stephane Allix - an investigative journalist and former war correspondent - follows Mack's investigations into the manifestation of other forms of life in the universe, and interviews several of those 'experiencers' who have had alien encounters.

Mass hysteria?? I don't get it Aliens fly from light years to make crop circles and appear before blokes who married their sisters. Surely if they are more intelligent and have conquered space travel they have better things to do with their time than visit earth to "Prank the locals"
