I dont understand why you would buy the rights to produce bally games and parts and then import old pinballs and sell them. Must be a very busy man this Christmas especially with Croc Hunter due by 2007.

Cash flow.

Lots of money going into making a pinball machine none coming out.

It must be costing millions in parts and tooling

"Why is Mr Pinball Having A Sale?"

Isn't that standard business practice, most businesses have sales/specials to move stock on.

Your question is perplexing - Do you know something we don't?

I have no problem with Mr Pinball having a sale, it makes good business sense before Christmas, I also have only ever received good service from him and certainly miss his friday bargains and would love him to come back to the forum.

My only point is this, surely if you buy the rights at a large cost for something, you should be looking to use those rights to produce your product. If importing and selling pins is more profitable why not just do that, why not sell the rights to someone who is going to use them. Getting 60 imported pins ready for a sale is a huge job and must be occupying alot of time.

Why does people think you have to "make" something yourself. You don't need to be a factory..... Outsourcing... anyone?

How long did it take to make Big Bang Bar? :unsure I don't know, does anyone here? :unsure

I will also add, why not call up EA games and ask for details on new game and why they are taking so long. Do you reckon you will get pics of the production in progress? :unsure Not the best comparision but at a company level it is the same.

Announced - Nov 2004

First (Euro) Delivery - June 2006

The rest - June 2007

Quite a different project, and much of the delay was getting the engineering right. While there are working protos (including Gene's own game), the drawings in many ways did not match the protos, and a lot of time went into getting the parts right.

There were also parties actively causing delays for their own reasons I have been told.

But the information was available to the buyers, as I suspect it is to the people on the super secret MM private forum as well, although the BBB stuff kept getting leaked, whereas none of the MM stuff seems to be getting leaked.
