Star Wars EP1

pinball god

Question

Considering purchasing this machine toadd to collection. Any thoughts or misgivings about the pinney. I'm unsure as I found it easy and possibly tedious but don't know waht it was set to and whether I played it as it should be (more focus on the video than flippers etc etc)

It's funny in just 3 repsonses I've 1 for, 1 against and 1 for it's twin brother. Hmmmm I'm still unsure but appreciate the comments.

Someone let me know how best to reply to each msg posted. Is quick post or what.

Thanks

Just shows that like cars, all tastes in pinball are different, if you like the pin and have the funds, then buy it.:D

My 2 cents, I agree with Bally, RFM has better gameplay, but SW:E1 has the better theme.

Choices, choices.:D

Looks like RFM is winning, unfortunately I haven't seen nor played it. Better get my A into gear and give this number a try soon. Thanks guys

Just had a thought.....I'm a little concerned if about the SWE1 as far as the technology/parts/repairs go. I heard a little mention once about the PRISM card that I have never been able to find replacements for let alone know if they blow or whatever anyway. Any of you experts know about the PRISM card or things I should consider. I can figure most probs if its to do physically like the trap door on ToM fails or something. Even if I can't fix it the game more than likely in most cases can still be played. What if the CRT goes on the SWE1 or PRISM does it then become a 'bucket of bolts' unti the end of time? You get what I mean...

I can repair prism cards, as I have the asics required to repair them

Hi Wayne,

That is good to know, what sort of cost is involved in repairing Prism cards.

Also what about the motherboards are you also able to repair these. I have a couple of dud motherboards and one prism card for RFM.

Regards

Pigsie
