narf_
my brother is looking into buying a 1977 gottlieb jacks open EM. All looks good minus a bit of stencil work and good tidy up from sitting in the side of a shed for the last 20 years. if its a goer he can get it at a good price was wondering in the event of needing parts still kicking in OZ or overseas? i see on the net production was just under 3k. so does this make it a limited run i got no idea on pinnies
jeff
classic game, production run is fairly average amount for a wedgehead parts are easy to get and if you dont want it, i know a dude who would kill for a JACKS OPEN in perth, so you may get good money if you stick it in the QUOKA (minus my cut of course :badgrin )
narf_
cheers jeff my bro has always wanted one and i stumbled across it while working at a guys house spotting it in his shed. When he gets around to getting it out hell give me a call about it how much they worth these days? ill be keeping the price disclosed to be fair to the owner and my brother the owner suggested a price and my bro seemed ok with it and i reckoned it was a good one
jumpydoctor
I think a fair few people here deal with pinball resource for old gottlieb parts and seem to get service, I don't think parts would be an issue
Ric
plastics and backglass are the hardest to find then metal work (heavy and expensive) but it all depends how anal you are with repsect to authenticity - remember it will never be the same as it was when it was first on site.
