Brisbane Arcade, Console and Gaming swap meet

Recommended Posts

I have been thinking about Wottos Idea (http://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php?t=2121). How about we hold a local meet where every one brings along there surplus and excess items they want to trade.

We do not need a hall we can hold it at some one house, like under my place or another agreed location

If there is enough interest I propose we do it the 9th September.

For the sake of security I suggest we have to register to attend and that the events location would not be publicly advertised.

Any comments or thoughts on this idea?

We still have this issue of $1500 v's $2k..! SI

(good to meet you today Burra)

We all look forward to a QLD meet. For the good of our needs / wants it should happen sooner rather than later.

The Sydney Girls seem to be more organised, why is that..?

SEQ Swap meet

Okay its a happening thing, 9th September for the First Aussie Arcade swap meet. It will be a 9.30am Kick off for all, with a 9 am start for registered sellers to set up.

As I am opening my place up for the event, only registered members will be able to attend. I would like to know who is coming for obvious security reasons, any one who does not register will not be able to attend and will not have the address.

I am open to comments or suggestions for the registration process, is it to much to ask for peoples names and address and or contact number? Or does anyone have other suggestions for the process.

This is not a commercial event and is simply a chance for forum members to meet and swap, sell or buy arcade games, parts and other related materials

There is no charge to attend this event.

Suggestions or comments please so we can finalise the process in the next few days.
